Every year since I was a litte girl this has always been a must watch movie for me during the halloween season. I am a fan of Bette Midler and she smashed her performance in this movie especially when she sang my favorite song of this movie “I Put a Spell on You”.

This was one of those movies that I've always wanted to own, but never got around to buying. BUT...as soon as I saw Best Buy's super cool steelbook exclusive at a great price, I bought it IMMEDIATELY! Absolutely no regrets. As of now, this is the Best way to own this movie. Get it while you can! Highly recommended.

For any of us growing up, watching Disney Channel original movies, this film is surely to be one of our favorites among them. Now with a Steelbook release for its anniversary edition, and made up to look like the Sanderson Head witch's spellbook, this Steelbook is a delight to the eyes aesthetically and visually.

I absolutely love exclusives and Best Buy out did your self this go around. Been waiting for a creative package for Hocus Pocus 25th anniversary. THE BOOK was exactly what us hard core fans needed. Keep up the good work and its Special packages like this that has kept me for a customer for many many years!!!!

Max Dennison was a decent drummer. i get the witches was tryna kill mad kids and stuff, but if he had that time to practice, who knows.... he couldve made money to buy new sneakers, maybe teach ICE how to breathe right... i mean max is just that kinda guy. also, yabos.

I bought this solely for Halloween. Had it on VHS and DVD, but now I'm going with blu-rays. And of course I had to get this one. Such a classic Halloween movie, classic Disney Halloween movie. Great cast and great overall atmosphere to even watch not on Halloween. But this is one of the movies you always watch on Halloween.

I decided to pick up a blu-ray copy to watch as a Halloween treat. It's pure silliness and suitable for whole family viewing...exactly what I was looking for. I'll keep it in my video library and pull it out next year.

It's a very humorous movie about three witches who were executed back in colonial days. They were brought back to life by accident by some modern day kids. It has mischief, mayhem and a lot of fun! This movie is a Halloween classic the whole family can enjoy.

Classic Halloween movie that I always look forward to watching in October. This is a very nice steel book packaging. It is nice that it is in 4K, however it might not have been fully needed. Regardless this is a great family movie.

In many movies, the kid characters almost always survive (Jurassic Park, Aliens, War of the Worlds, etc). The reason is that most audiences don't consider it fun popcorn fare to watch children get killed off. Well, enter Hocus Pocus: Disney's "fun and rollicking" family Halloween classic that addresses the super fun topics of child murder, teenage virginity, and undead kids. The tone of the movie is clearly meant to be light and comedic, so it's surprising that Disney filled the plot with such adult themes. Still, it's a fun movie, but be warned--if you watch with younger kids, be prepared to answer questions like, "Daddy, what's a virgin?"

I’ve watched this movie an unhealthy amount of times & still never get tired of it. This is one of those comfort movies you can watch anytime of the year. I love it!

Many of you have likely seen this film. It's old, but a great Halloween classic. A tiny bit scary without being a horror film. Appropriate for kids 10 and up. Years ago, my youngest child kept asking me what a "virgin" was. (She heard it in the movie). She was about 5 at the time. We still laugh about it years later.

Witches have never been funny. A perfect gem. I watch this movie every year. It continues to make me laugh. I act out and repeat lines from this movie just because its that great. One of early Disney's greatest classics and movies. Perfect in every way. Never have I ever loved a movie so much. Prepare to love it too.

i always thought this movie was for girl as a kid. but my wife really loves this movie. so as a surprise i bought this for her. and after watching this movie. i have to say this was a fun entertaining movie. me and my kids really like this movie. fun for the whole family. a must buy i have to say.

I got this film for my wife and daughter, as I have yet to see it. I’m a physical copy kind of guy so I grabbed this since it was on sale and the new movie is coming out soon.

Great up-conversion for an older movie, and HDR add. Uncompressed audio was also excellent, versus watching on cable. I like the 1.85:1 ratio, which almost gets rid of the black bars, vs the 2.40:1 ratio on a lot of 4ks which has the biggest bars.

This was tough to track down, but totally worth it! I love "Hocus Pocus", and this makes a great collector's item to keep. I love the steelbook cover, and all the extras. I just wish that Disney would finally would release the never before seen deleted scenes!

I LOVE Hocus Pocus! This movie is a halloween classic and is a requirement for every person to have in their movie library. Kids love it and there's lots of (clean) adult humor as well. It does get cheesy a bit (but hey, it's a 90s Disney movie) but it's just awesome.

This was the first time I have watched it in a long time and I bought it so that my little girl can see it. She loved every minute of it. She thought it was the best thing ever. It was funny to hear her say that she loved the music..I mean to expose my kid to someone as wonderful as Bette Midler and have her say she loved it.. It is a great thing.

I got this movie to watch because it's always been a Halloween favorite. The movie was and still is as good as it was when I was younger. While most stores don't carry this I was happy to find it in store and walk out with it the same day. I would recommend this movie for anyone interested in Halloween and who has seen this in their younger years.
