Not as good as I remembered, but a fun little Halloween flick.

Fun movie for the family. Looks decent for not being Blu-Ray.

I never liked this movie, but my wife does so she bought it.

Horrible ! I tried to purchase a I phone 7 battery and got at store at 11:00 am and they said I could get a appointment at 12 :00 and I said great and I’ll be back. I got there at 11:50 in line behind one couple and saw the service technician just standing around in back doing nothing and I was still waiting at 12:15 a new employee walked in and ask tried to help me but said service technician just left and don’t know when he will get another one in and wanted me to leave my phone and of course I couldn’t do that when he didn’t know when anybody would get to it so I left and got a battery somewhere else .

It was halloween, this was an interesting movie for the kids.

The night scenes (teh whole film takes place at night) are unwatchable. on the 4K disc All you see are vague moving shadows. The same scenes on the Blu-ray are much better lit. As for extras, there are interviews and trivia on the Blu-ray only, but only as pop-ups when watching the film, so you have to spend another 90 minutes to get through them. There's also a 4 minute standalone feature on the Blu-ray. No extras on the 4K disc. Garry & sister Penny Marshall have uncredited cameos as husband & wife.

Pays attention to the prominent aspects of witchcraft, with living spell books, broomstick flight, black cats, and grotesque faces, there's no overwhelming commitment to a consistent attitude.

Hocus Pocus is definitely a corny movie, but, a Halloween classic. It's one of those movies that you need to watch every year and you never outgrow it.

I think this is one of those films that you have to have first seen as an impressionable child to then later enjoy as an adult. I suffered through it to make my wife happy. It is not a great movie (the blu-ray edition is just fine in terms of clarity, so if you love this film, by all means get it on blu-ray). Not a good blind buy.

Like most comedies... lots of waiting in between laughs. Watched once wont do it again.
