Fan quickly came loose from motor

I glued it back with JB Weld, which held only for another day or two. I finally took it all apart, drilled the fan and motor shaft, installed a pin, and glued it back on. Now it has worked fine for quite a while with no problem except a bit of vibration (possibly from the pin I installed), causing the screws to vibrate loose occasionally.

Can't sleep without one!

The controls are in the center on the back of the unit instead of on the top where they have been forever. The cord is not permanently attached, but unplugs at the back of the fan. Don't know how that's going to work out. Could be louder, but maybe that's not what most people are looking for!
