Some people said the blue "on" light is too bright, but I just taped a piece of paper over it. Simple, if you're willing. I do have to clean out the removable filter a lot more often than listed in the manual, as we discovered there is a lot of dust in the room. When the removable filter is coated with dust, the suction gets blocked and the air purifier ends up working too hard since there isn't smooth air flow.
