Fans the air well but...

Didn't work straight out of the box

It's a little noisier than some of the other tower fans on demo at the stores, but not a deterrent from buying it. The first one was broken right out of the box (plastic grates inside had broken off the spine). I was able to get it exchanged for another and haven't seen any resemblance of the same problem creep up within the last 3 years.
