Would have preferred to have this on 4K, but it's not available yet and our old DVD needed an upgrade. Colors are relatively bright, but lack the pop we expect from a high-def transfer. Lines are clean, but not super sharp and there are some soft moments throughout. Certainly not reference material, but a definite improvement over previous home video releases!

Not quite as good as the first one, but it's still fun to watch.

The movie is a worthy follow-up to the original Home Alone. Others have commented on that, so I won't. But, regarding the blu-ray disc itself, it does not play on my older Sony BDP-N460 player running the latest available firmware (version M02.R.195). This is a 2009 model of blu-ray player and has never had an issue with a disc until now. The disc played fine on a newer Panasonic player, model DMP-BD65, purchased in 2010. I have seen the same problem reported on another review sites. My disc has a blu-ray "Cat #: 2331417" on the bar code and a bar code # 0 2454307683 4.

Best buy had the best price for this must own blu ray, and I'm convinced it's the best newer release blu ray version to date.Don't hesitate on this one, forgo the more expensive slight older version box set of Home Alone and HA2 and purchase them seperately for $10 a piece and better quality picture!

'Home Alone 2,' while not really offering anything new compared to its predecessor, still does an outstanding job of captivating the audience. Very funny and full of great performances, especially by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. Good dvd presentation, not much in terms of bonus features though.

Still a great Christmas movie after all these years

other than this movie is a classic and it should've been in my collection years ago!

My kids thought it was really cool that he was living in a hotel and again, defeating the bad guys...

A good ole 90s favorite gets the combo pack treatment, a perfect Christmas present.

Yes there it is a lot like the original with the traps and the premise of being "home alone" but it is still a fun movie. Definitely have this in my holiday movie rotation every year.

Supposing the success of the first film warranted another i would think they would put a little more thought into the plot, i mean come on! Crazy! The acting is good by Culkin, Pesci, and Stern that saves this movie. If you loved the first like myself, give this one a go i guess.

I was never a fan of this movie, even when I was younger. I know a lot of people do like it but I don't see what is so good about it.
