The movie is a known quantity, so the real news here is that the Blu Ray version is actually full screen. It is much nicer to watch than the tiny shrunken rectangle of the DVD.

i bought the movie for the children and found myself laughing hysterically. Relived a little bit of my childhood. The children loved all the crazy antics, we have now watched it a couple times.

My family considers this a Christmas classic even thought it's not really about Christmas. We have an annual tradition of watching Home Alone each year. Fun movie we quote year-round.

A classic movie, and the 4k HDR quality is better than other older movies I've seen on the format. The colors pop really well.

"Somewhere in my memory," I mean back in 1990 I saw this movie as a sneak preview at the theater and loved it! The late John Hughes was a gifted screen writer and this movie is no exception. Directed by Christ Columbus, the musical composition of John Williams, a very good cast, this Christmas "family comedy without the family" is still entertaining 25 years after the original theatrical release.

Love the movie! You can watch it again and again and never get tired of it.

This steelbook is great, a must watch every year with my family, and this steelbook/4K transfer makes it that much more fun to watch!
