Bought this just because I remember it as being pretty funny, which it is and thought it would be fun for the older grandkids when they visit. Never realized the first time I saw it, the family values aspect of it. It's safe enough for preteens , has no swear words that I remember and really brings home the importance of family all in a hilarious fashion.

Home Alone is one of the great Christmas Movies. Watching it early in the Christmas Season is a wonderful way to start getting into the Spirit of Christmas. It ranks with White Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, The Christmas Story, and A Christmas Carol as much watch movies every Christmas Season. Merry Christmas to All!

Saw this movie for the first time as a young boy and instantly felt a bond with young Kevin. You sit and ponder what you would do in his shoes, admiring his courage and clever poise against the robbers. A must see if you haven't, fun for all ages, I suggest adding this to the must watch list of movies around the holidays.

Even though this is a standard definition DVD, it comes with a high definition digital copy. So if you want to watch this movie in HD, and you have the capability to stream HD movies, then you can save some money by purchasing this DVD instead of the Blu-ray and then redeeming the digital HD copy to watch streaming in HD.

I have always loved Home Alone and for some reason did not have it in my collection! I thought I did, my family watched this every year when I was a child. This is unique for its time period of a kid getting eh best of burglars after being left home alone while his family goes to another country for vacation, on accident of course.

What's not to like really This is a classic movie it's fun to watch anytime of the year obviously it's a little more fun closer to Christmas but it really never gets old plenty of laughs for the whole family and this steelbook collector's edition is a must.

If you're a millennial there's a good chance the first Christmas movie you saw in theatres was Home Alone. The combination of writer John Hughes, director Chris Columbus and a great cast (Catherine O'Hara as the mom, Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the crooks, and the biggest child actor of all, Macauley Culkin) produced an outrageous movie that was both very funny but had a lot of heart. It's hard to believe that it's now 25 years old and Culkin is now old enough to run for President, but the film has held up pretty well, looks great on Blu-ray, and features some good extras, including an audio commentary with Columbus and Culkin. It's been on sale recently, so it's a great bargain

A must have for the kids during christmas. It's for kids of all ages and contains no scenes that would be inappropriate. It has some comedic violence similar to that seen in the old "Tom and Jerry" cartoon. Kids will really enjoy it and ask to watch it over and over, over and over again. You'll get to learn the script. Trust me.

Every year when it comes time to ring in Christmastime, Home Alone is one of the musts. I bought this copy to upgrade to Blu-Ray and because it has an iTunes HD copy. I was not unhappy at all. Great quality to enjoy for years to come. I was thrilled that this one had so many bonus features, as opposed to the bare bones on the DVD that I had.

i'm so glad to have gotten this and home alone 2 on bluray! director Chris Columbus always knows that the first two films of a franchise are good for him to direct like this and the 1st two Harry Potter films.

Been wanting this holiday must have. The movie quality is great despite it being on dvd. Now I’ll have this awesome classic movie to watch whenever I want to enjoy it at any Christmas occasion or event.

Beautiful kid comedy. There’s no way in hell those two guy would have survived in the real world with all of those traps by that kid. No way. But fictional comedy is interesting to watch.

Great release and perfect timing for the holidays! Can’t believe this movie is 30 years old, but finally now in 4K! Kid will be kid at heart here and somehow still holds up today with good entertainment! Get a copy at Best Buy today!

This is one of my wife's favorite movie of all time. Bought it for her as part of her Christmas presents. The 4K picture quality is top-notch. Amazing for an older film. She is very happy with my purchase!

Fun for the kids... you can be at ease that this movie will entertain both kids and adults... this has the quality of humor that you can trust will make your kids think about life situations...

A classic made even better by this excellent 4K HDR upgrade. This upgrade brings a whole new feel to this movie (in a good way). The bright colors of Christmas really pop thanks to the HDR and the resolution is excellent.

I bought this to watch on Christmas Eve with the family. You cannot beat the Christmas Cheer and Family Good Feels from Home Alone. From the youngest to the Grandparents, everyone loves this movie and to hear everyone laughing on Christmas...well that is the best gift of all.

We bought this movie as a gift, as we already own it. Our 6 and 9 y.o. love this movie. Especially how McCauley foils the burglars over and over again, and teaches the old neighbor, how to show love and compassion to his own grand kids. Definitely a movie to add to your library for family movie nights.

Home Alone is at the of my list when it comes to Christmas/Holiday films and now with it HD Blu-ray/Blu-ray makes it even more stunning to watch on my Smart TV. The laughs, inside jokes are great in this Christmas Family/Comedy.

It's Home Alone. The best of the series and a wonderful holiday movie. Right up there with the other classics. Only wish it had included a slip cover.
