We love this movie and wanted it in the permanent collection as its a classic comedy. Problem is brand new right out of the package the blue ray will not work in our relatively new Xbox one. Other blue rays work but no this one so we paid for blue ray and stuck watching standard.

I will never order movies to be delivered again because they never make it to your house. Says delivered but they never really are. Waist of time and money.

The disk will not play on my machine. I shall try to return it to the store.

I have always enjoyed this film. 20 years later I still say it was over hyped when released & became the hit it did. And, yes the character Kevin was acting bad. Any parent would have grounded him at least. The slap stick comedy was the hit here. Did take enough time to get to the funny parts. COURSE with this large group no 1 thought to set another clock to ensure they got up in time. BUT that would not have lead to the film. Just to point out these things. PUT the passports, tickets in a safe place not on a counter to get milk spilled on them. We do get the points of the film about family. The build to the story on the neighbor after the story Buzz told about him that he was just a lonely man who missed his family. Good to see the late John Candy in here after the 1989 hit Uncle Buck where he & Culkin worked together there. There are plenty of extras on this DVD. BUT, MY COMPLAINT & I HAVE HAD THIS COMPLAINT FOR SOME TIME NOW. They used the cheap, intentional holes in them plastic DVD case. I HATE these. Cheap, can damage your DVD so you can go out & buy another. No chapter search list. You will enjoy the film & the extras here JUST BE CAREFUL WHEN STORING THE DVD WITH THE CHEAP PLASTIC CASE WITH INTENTIONAL HOLES IN IT.

Best buy had the best price for thiss must own blu ray, and I'm convinced it's the best newer release blu ray version to date.Don't hesitate on this one, forgo the more expensive slight older version box set of Home Alone and HA2 and purchase them seperately for $10 a piece and better quality picture!

I've been watching this movie since I was a kid and now I watch it every Christmas season with my three little boys. I don't know what it is, but it just has a awesome Christmas feeling to it. I'll be watching this till I'm old with grandchildren.

I watched this as a teenager, and thought my oldest boy would get a kick out of it b/c he is the same age as "Kevin" so minus the few cuss words that I warned him about, he & his younger brother really enjoyed watching Kevin defeat the bad guys.

A modern classic that never disappoints and has humor for all ages! It’s become part of our 5 days of 5 classic Christmas movies family tradition!

The original dvd release of 'Home Alone' was quite disappointing. Thankfully, this special edition re-release takes care of those problems and finally gives fans of the film what they deserve. Anamorphic widescreen transfer is good and bonus features are plentiful. Recommended!

Another classic on 4k. Excellent extras on this edition. Glad to upgrade to 5k for these classic titles.

The funniest sequence is the trapping of the bad guys Harry and Marv (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how can this movie be so good..? and it never gets old .. in this Christmas season its so great to have a movie night and what could be better with a classic movie

Home Alone is an all time classic! If you dont see this movie your not right upstairs if ya get my drift! Great holiday movie that made me laugh!

The trap-setting is the funniest scene ever invented, followed by the bloopers!!!!!!!!!!
