The trailers for this movie completely misrepresented the plot of the movie. Going in with different expectations did not sully the movie at all, even if the plot felt fairly similar to other more well known science fiction movies. The payoff and culmination of the story is still worth the watch, although the combo is missing some in-depth features.

Our kids really enjoyed this movie and we really enjoyed it with them. That isn't always the case, however, the humor, plot, graphics, and music kept all of us entertained throughout the film. Without giving anything away, "sad-mad" also helped us explain our emotions to one of our young children after the recent unexpected death of a family member.

I found the 3D to be average at best but still good enough. The sound was great and the story was great. I think Jim Parson as the alien OH made the movie. I found myself rewinding parts just cracking up at his alien jokes. This movie has every cliche imaginable thrown in. But it still worked. Worth watching. If you liked Toy Story 1 you will like this.

Home is AWESOME there's not enough good things i can't say about it. My Son love's it, I love it we could constantly watch it over and over and over and that's saying a lot with a lot of the cartoons out there. It's got it's funny moments, of course a couple sad ones but i will say this one is a MUST have spend the money on it it's money worth spent.

Jim Parsons and Rhianna are great together as an alien and kid trying together to get "Home", but Both have different ideas of what Home is. I enjoyed the movie but was frustrated that "Oh" (Parson's alien character) spoke incorrectly, because my youngest child started emulating the improper phrasing of his dialogue.

My daughter will be 3 in October. She has loved this movie since she first seen it. It's totoally cute and as a mom I actually like watching this one with her. Love that it has the digital version that can be used through Vudu so we don't even need to have the DVD handy as long as we have wifi or internet connection.

My son loves this movie, but it is not just for children, adults find it entertaining as well. While not being mushy and the entire movie just about making a good point, the story does have its moral lessons. Good family movie. Aside from some bathroom humor, even pure made for kids shows don't get much cleaner than this one.

Girl meets extraterrestrial. Girl initially hates extraterrestrial. Extraterrestrial wins over girl with cute charm. Girl falls for extraterrestrial. Screech! This isn't a love story. It's about two very different beings coming together to save both their respective species and it's pretty darned funny. The blu ray looks terrific too.

I purchased this movie to do a family night with my children. We absolutely loved it! It was a very cute movie that all ages enjoyed. I was very happy with the customer service I received, the price match guarantee, and the movie itself. Thanks for making our night.

I watched this movie last night with my 5 year old daughter and we both enjoyed it. The characters are cute and funny and the overall story was decent. As is the case with most animated movies, the characters grew by learning lessons throughout the movie which, in this movie were primarily not to assume you know what's best for others and to be brave enough to try to understand your problems in the hopes that you can fix them versus running away from them which only makes things worse.

This is a fun movie. Rihanna, Jim Parsons, and Steve Martin deliver on the comedy and the story pokes fun at the assumptions of Imperialism and Colonialism which don't feel relevant to society today, but which our society is built upon. And its fun that the star is a female person of color with ethnic hair who topples the empire just by searching for her mom. I love this movie and so do my kids. Its a lot of fun whether you take it all apart like that or not.

I researched and looked dozens of televisions before deciding on the OLED platform. It is a bit pricey but I feel it will be worth it. It has a wonderful picture even with the current cable TV setup. Netflix looks great on it. I really haven't tried much 4K material yet, but I am sure I won' be disappointed.

I bought this movie for my daughter. I thought she may enjoy it. That was an understatement! She loves the "boovs" and has since watched this movie at least 30 times. I have watched it several times with her too. It is a wonderful movie with a good story and plenty of humor to keep children interested. Highly recommended!

This movie is for children of all ages. As a matter of fact, I even enjoyed this movie myself. I would recommend this movie to the parents to buy for their children, because they would love it, plus, the parents will end up watching it with the children.

This is a great kids movie that both kids and adults can enjoy. Jim Parsons is hilarious as the Pollyanna-type alien that accidentally ends up on Earth. Rihanna does a good job as a voice actress for the main human character. The movie can be a little zany, but it's a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

I ordered this movie for our 3-year old who loved it when we saw it in theaters. She loves the music just as much as she enjoys the movie itself. The movie is purely fictional, but it is funny, imaginative, and heartwarming, Home is a movie the entire family will enjoy over and over and over again.

We took my granddaughter to see this movie and she started begging for the video immediately. She's 5 and didn't quite understand that there is a time period before they come out on DVD! She watches it almost every day! This movie is a must have!

Was glad to find this movie for a good price at Best Buy. We like the themes in the movie which are great springboards for talking about issues with our kids (a big giant might be soft, little and even cute when the outside she'll is removed, how someone not used to our culture might observe things we do, etc).

Family of six, with one in preschool, elementary, middle school, and one starting high school. The little ones saw the commercial and drove me up the wall to purchase it the day it was available. Got it, pop'd it in the blue ray player and chuckling began right away as toilets floated to the sky in mass numbers. Due to the laughing out, the big kids soon sat down with mommy and daddy followed suit. I can honestly say we all got a kick out of this movie!!!

This was a great movie about friendship. I was able to watch it with my five year old son without feeling like I was watching a kid's movie, if you know what I mean. There were some very exciting scenes, lessons on friendship and family, and some real tear jerker moments. Lots of laughs throughout too.
