Great Investment - although the Google wifi is designed as a DIY installable product, having the Geek Squad set it up was well worth the cost. They were on time, assessed my situation and began to work on the installation in a matter of minutes. The connected all of my wifi ready devices to the whole house wifi network and didn't have an issue trouble- shooting a particular device that seemingly didn't want to pair with the system. These guys are Real pro's. My investment saved me a ton of time and potential frustration.

Once all the components arrived and a licensed electrician completed his work, all components from Best Buy were installed in one visit by the BEST Geek Squad employee I have or ever hope to meet!

Cole did a great job setting up our TV and loading all the apps. He answered all our questions with knowledge and respect.

We had recently purchased the Google mesh network & set it up. The first day it worked great but then after that, we had issues. After much troubleshooting, we couldn't get it to work like we wanted, so we called Geek Squad. It turned out it wasn't a problem with the product but our wires were loose at connection points. Whoops!! Agent Sunday was great at quickly figuring it out & he even gave us a call back the next day to ensure all was still working well. I will say, the only issue we had was not specifically with Geek Squad, but maybe all of the team members. We had a store credit that we were going to use to pay for the Geek Squad service. I asked Agent Danielle if we could use it, she said yes. When Agent Sunday called to confirm the appointment, he said we could use it. When we went to use it, we couldn't use it with Agent Sunday & I ended up having to drive to the store to use the store credit card. It turns out, there is one store credit card that has only a bar code & then there's one that has the magnetic strip. The field agents can only run those cards with a magnetic strip. It would be beneficial for all to be aware of this to avoid the issue I had.

Routers installed perfectly, friendly and knowledgeable

I was able to install my Linksys mesh WiFi system easily enough and most of my devices worked well. Some devices however wouldn't respond at all. When Andrew came to my home he found that certain devices were not responding to the new 5 ghz network. He was able to split the service into two networks so that the devices that will only work with the slower network now work and the newer devices still work with the faster network. I'm very happy with the results.

The first router we purchased did not work properly, After it was installed, we discovered it would connect and disconnect from our network about every 10 seconds. After a few more problems, we finally got one working. Austin, who had been involved, was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and efficient.

My tech was Bill. Very polite, knowledgeable and completed my Wi-Fi hook-up for my printer, laptop, LG TV, Wi-Fi booster and phone. Excellent tech.

Eric was tremendous, couldn't ask for any more than him. He did the install and couldn't do enough for me, asking me when he finished if there was anything else he could do. The install was great, the wifi is great! Glad i made the decision to upgrade my wifi and get it from Best Buy, wouldn't have bought anywhere else, being a total tech member really pays off with not only installs but also with computer tune-ups.

Jeremy checked my units and replaced my receiver, set up my Roku, carefully explained how things work and even wrote notes for me to refer to if I need to refresh my memory. He was WONDERFUL to work with!!

A member of the Geek squad came to our church to install a wifi extender . The church wanted the wifi to extend into the sanctuary. I had already bought an extender at Best Buy , but hadn't even opened it . The GS member person informed me that what I. Had purchased would not work. On his truck he had another type of extender (cost 3 X more than my original purchase). He was professional & I never felt like he took advantage of me. He was able to get us wifi in our sanctuary despite some unique difficulties.

I have a tiny cabinet behind my fireplace where all of the components must go. I wanted to update all of my ten year old equipment. First Jason came out at no charge and evaluated everything I had and we decided what I wanted and needed. Then he ordered everything and set an install date. I love how much better It all fits. They did a great job installing and organizing. They tested each item and gave me a thorough training on everything. I’m really happy.

I first went to Best Buy and spoke with Noah regarding my WiFi problems supplied to me by my Cable provider. He in turn brought in Shyam, an "In Home Advisor" for more technical support to help and to best advise me. Because my existing Modem and Router are positioned in my garage, Shyam asked if he could come to my home for a "Free Evaluation" before recommending a solution? He came and asked to walk through my (2) story home to evaluate? After doing so he suggested I purchase the Eero Pro WiFi system to solve my poor quality WiFi problems. Based on his knowledge,I purchase this unit as well as a NetGear 16-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch and requested an installation appointment with the infamous "Geek Squad" to install? Technician Anthony came and in No time had me set up with an Outstanding signal. I made mention to him that I also had some Ethernet cable problems that my cable provider had installed sometime back so he called the Best Buy Ethernet Technician, Sidney Johnson to discuss. Based on Anthony's suggestion,I called Shyam at the Best Buy Store to set up an Advisory Appointment with Sydney Johnson. Technicians Sydney and Chase came to my home and quickly resolved my Ethernet issue as well. I can't say enough for the Help and Knowledge that I have received from everyone at Best Buy who were involved in helping me with my problem,even going out of their way at times providing extra effort to do so. I'm very pleased with everything.

The technician was a true expert in installing my home’s new wi-fi network - new cable modem, new router, and configured all wi-fi connected devices. Great job!
