Victor installed my router and answered all my wuestions

I replaced my WiFi Router with a new unit with 5G band several months ago. This caused a problem with several of my older appliances. They wanted to communicate over 2.5G but couldn't because of being blocked by 5G, for whatever technical reason. My Water Heater, Stove, and Solar controller couldn't connect to log in and report their status. This was annoying, especially with the solar, as I couldn't monitor my daily usage. Finally called Geek Squad, They were able to come out the same week, and the technician was very knowledgable and helpful, especially as the dispatcher couldn't/wouldn't take the full details of the problem, so the technician came in blind basically. But the technician was basically able to reset the router, turn off the 5G, help me reestablish communication with my stove and water heater. (Wasn't able to reestablish comm with solar controller, as the solar support determined the controller was bad). And the technician was able to do all this on her phone, without a laptop. And a one hour job had turned into a 2.5 hour job. In the end I was very happy with the support and results.

The agent arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. It was obvious that he was knowledgeable and tried multiple options to get my WIFI extender mesh system operating properly but was not successful. After discussing the issue with several coworkers via phone that extenders wouldn’t operate properly with the Cox Gateway router and modem even though a previous Geek Squad tech who came out to the house recommended I purchase the Erro 3 mesh system. I ended up returning the Erros. I had to purchase two Cox WIFI extenders which resolved the signal issues.

I am no new comer to setting up a router but I had wasted many hours this time without success. The Geek Squad came in and with a little time and effort had me up and running.

Such amazing service, the Greek Squad went way above the call of duty while the service call. He stayed a little long and he connected the Alexia, all are working in the best order ever. He told me I didn't need the extra WI-FI, the stated the previous Eero where not commuting.

I was really blown away by the in home service. My technician that was sent to my house was AWESOME. His name was Dillon. He made sure everything was up and running and made sure when cameras were installed everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this service. Well worth it.

By the time we received our installation service, we had figured out most of the set up, yet having knowledgeable advice and reassurance was worth the investment. All of our questions were thoroughly answered as well as plenty of additional suggestions and reccomendations specific for our particular situation. The agent installed my my new Eero wireless system efficently and effortlessly. When I had a small problem, he returned the next day and fixed it. Geek Squad agents are so good at their jobs.

Andrew did a fabulous job helping us get set up, even though he needed to come back later that day because our internet provider was having connection issues. Andrew was gracious throughout all phases of the installation, and he was very helpful in explaining every detail to my husband and me.

Tech who came out to set up my wiFi system was very clean, courteous and competent.

Michael, our tech called and was able to fit us in early. Great start. Then he was excellent with installing everything, checking to make sure it was working as expected. Answered our many questions. Overall very excellent tech and super nice and patient.

The two men were on time and very patient with myself..a senior citizen. The were very helpful and knowledgeable. Ready to answer any question possible. Not rushed. Will use again.
