Geek Squad salesman sold me a mesh network by explaining it as a "powerful wi-fi extender". He definitely did NOT answer any of my specific questions about this equipment. Salesman set up appt for installation while at my house. Installation tech never showed up. Took half day off work to be there. Best Buy gave discount on tech service for no-show. The equipment I purchased, which was explained as "complicated to set up", was merely a plug-n-play. Tech handled set-up using MY cell phone. The ONLY thing which required physical labor was the resetting of my exterior security cameras (the fact that this was required, along with the reason for its requirement, was NOT explained to me by either the salesman or the tech). Tech was NOT able to get my security camera reset properly after he installed the Mesh Network. I had to have my security company come out the following week and reset.

Eventually, the job was completed, but only after 4 tech visits. Of course, each of those visits required that I have someone at home to receive the tech. In time it was resolved, but the cost in time was more than the savings of the service.

The agents...it was a 2 visit with 2 different agent job...were fantastic. I would give them a 5 BUT the customer experience to them here was painful. I was given wrong info at the store which led to the 2 visits and then to get the second scheduled took the first agent to do this while on vacation. It was a nightmare of a million calls and wait time. But the end work was perfect.
