    While the technician looked at my network and made a few changes, I didn’t feel like he made sure the devices were working properly.

    Not exactly the best service in the end. Tech stopped by to set up stronger connect for wi-fi. Know our service is worse than before.

    I purchased a whole house WiFi system. It is slower than my old router with an extender. I wish the geek squad person would have recommended something different.

    I wish I could find a Geek who really enjoyed his work and liked to be helpful. This last Geek was exactly like the others: just wanted to leave.

    The Squad Members were SUPER NICE, however, the schedulers sent out people better suited for Home Theater Installation, rather than Home Network Installation.

    Agent attached my new wifi router and when asked to help get it to work on 2nd computer we were told to call in and get another appointment

    Horrible! Geek tech said he was not a computer expert. I had to call Cox to set up my Router/modem because he didn’t do it correctly. Cox told me I didn’t need the cable that he told me I had to buy. Clearly I wasted $175.00 for nothing.

    Setting up my Netgear Wi-Fi extenders

    I purchased the Netgear extenders from Best Buy with the understanding that they only required a two-button setup. That didn't work. I didn't get help from the Geek Squad. I was finally able to contact Netgear support and after a full hour, multi-step process, I finally succeeded in getting them connected to my new Spectrum Router.

    Geek squad can almost fix everything. But windows 10 updates w networks is a really big pain and exceeds what can be done at one normal type visit.

    Signed up for an installation date/time on placing the order for the router on line. That date was canceled with no explanation and I had to schedule for a much later date. Wasn't able to get an 8 hour appointment time window until the morning of the scheduled installation date. Agent didn't give much instruction or advice at installation but gave me his Geek Squad card and said to call him if I had questions or problems. He has failed to respond to both my voicemail messages.

    The agent was very nice. He did not solve my unusual issue. I was able to to do it later with a router and a splitter box. My goal is to not need wifi.

    The first call the agent made an appt. and said I had to bring in my modem and lap top. Turns out she never put the appt in the computer and the modem does not work in the store and I needed a home appt. I drove an hour and half to get there. Then I fixed the computer on my own and tried to cancel the appt., was told by the woman in the store to call an 800 number where they told me to call the store, but they did not want to send me back so they called the store and we waited 58 min. on hold. I finally called from another phone and got through only to be told I could not cancel the appt. unless I talked to the agent coming to my home and I would not be refunded because now it was too late. The agent could not be reached of course. The day of the appt. I got a text that he was on his way and I texted back to cancel and that canceled the appt. but I did not get my $100 back. I have never been treated so badly by Geek Squad. I also needed to purchase a computer program and was told repeatedly that Best Buy did not carry it. I know they did and finally convinced the GS agent to look in inventory where he found it and led me to the display.

    having some problems

    My network is cutting out intermittently. I need an appointment for troubleshooting. I would not recommend to a friend at this time because of the problems. Perhaps when it is fixed.

    Not happy with this service. They set up this three-module wifi system but did not solve my problems as promised. I think I wasted at least $300 between equipment and labor on this one item. The entire ticket was over $800 and not much really worked out. I was promised complete cable management on home theater set-up and they did nothing. left the same mess they found.

    A tech came to the house to set up a wi-fi system. I already had one for my satellite internet service. As it turned out, I could not use that service and system because wireless security cameras will not work on satellite internet service due to the long latency periods in satellite services, but the Geek Squad apparently does not know that. I had to learn it the hard way, doing a lot of trial and error and finally talking to HughesNet, Ring and Simplisafe.
