You can do better

Every day since we find the wifi inoperative not connecting to the internet all lights and plugs normal. We must unplug the router and EERO to fix the issue. Also we got 0 followup on the work he performed verses he said he would provide that info? What's going on??

Geek squad sent TV people instead of Network .

Problems connecting my computer with the internet

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The agent come out and observed my problem and basically agreed with with the problem. He went through some programming checks but was not able to fix the problem. So paid $99 to have someone come and confirm that I had a problem with my computer connecting to the internet. A resolution to my problem was not forthcoming. I am still having the same problem today and am looking for someone who may be able to correct the problem.

Did not get what I was told

However, the installer plugged it in. Got a few things connected, and left. The salesman said he would check for dead spots, etc. but none of that happened. I have since had issues with connections which I have had to troubleshoot and resolve myself. All in all, I could have plugged that router in myself and saved the money.

The agent wouldn't even look at what I had set up to see if it was safe and it wasn't, and after he left, I had to reset my PC again because it got hacked again. I called my internet provider and he helped me with it for free. Agents gong into homes need communication training. I felt very disrespected in my own home and I paid $49.95 for nothing. I had taken my PC 5 times previously into the store to get reset because I kept getting hacked. I had bought a $200 subscription. I had to figure out on my own what I needed to do. No one would listen to me. I asked this agent to reset my WIFI Internet Setup and he wouldn't even look at it and I got charged for ? I don't have a good opinion of Geek Squad, I am a senior, have lived in Alaska since the 1970s. I know many people. I have an extended family here: a company project manager, a business owner, teenager who is a gamer, and many others who are on the internet with different devices daily. I won't recommend Geeg Squad. So after $250, I am left with little confidence in GS,

My experience with Geek Squad is poor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very upset and disappointed with the service of Geek Squad and on the return on my Total Tech support membership. At one point, and after several rescheduling, they sent people to install a washing machine, when my request was dishwasher installation. And now, they've missed three appointments to install equipments they recommended I purchase. I missed three days of earning in each of these three days they didn't show up. Once, I got a phone call that the agent had a strep throat and he rescheduled. Then, he didn't show up at the rescheduled appointment or called all together. And on 10/19, and after many phone calls and reported complaints, an agent showed up, opened the over $600 worth of items we purchased from Best Buy, and then stated that one is defective and he rescheduled to return on Wednesday 11/3. I took the day off. He never showed up or called. I had three days of lost wages/earning. I need this issue resolved. Immediately.

Geek squad didn’t complete the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.William Hart told me I needed a new power cord so I went and bought one at Best Buy only to have Joey tell me I bought a 60 something and needed a 150 something. So I went back and switched. It still doesn’t work and my issue has been marked as complete. I still do not have access to my computer and am extremely frustrated. I can’t say William or Joey did their job correctly yet I still paid a fee for them to do the work.

geek squad installed tv

Blake Pfeiffer, system designer did okay designing, but he was terrible at responding to calls or calling back when I left messages. He still has'nt responded to my last message left over a week ago. and there were a number of others.

Not a happy camper

I used to have one, then I bought two new computers. No one that I have dealt with online or on the phone helped me. Not only that, when they threw in the towel, they scheduled someone to come to my house at no cost. Well, someone came and it was the wrong type technician. He said he would get the right person and they would come. The return visit was never scheduled correctly and I spent more time on the phone trying to convince someone what was needed and why it had to be done at my home. We'll see what happens in a month when the right type technician is supposed to show up at my house and help me re-establish a computer home network.
