Geek squad did not show up for install

The salesperson said they could come the next day between 7 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to hook up the EERO mesh wifi at no charge b/c I am a geek squad member. I cancelled 2 appointments and stayed home all day. When they didn't show by 5, I went on line to track my appt. and learned it had been rescheduled for 2 weeks later. I couldn't wait that long so I paid someone to hook it up. When I called to cancel the appt and told the why, they couldn't care less

Geek Squad remote/online support is useless

Will never get again

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek Squad has been awesome up until I set up a in Home WIFI trouble shooting. In home consultation was good, was told if I had any problems he was my contact. Texted four or five times and then had to call the store and cancel orders. I would Not Get in Home Install either. They called fifteen minutes before they where schedule to arrive and canceled, rescheduled and I called the day before only to be told that was scheduled then canceled fifteen minutes after it was scheduled. No one could tell me why, and they didn’t seem like it mattered. The people who schedule and you speak to over the phone have No customer service!!!!!!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN GEEK SQUAD

Definitely feel I should get a rebate

The tech was very pleasant and knowledgeable but couldn't get phone reception in my area. I was told to go to the Comcast store and have it done. When I got there I was informed that they couldn't do it and instructed to go online by phone. This ended up taking over an hour to do. All in all I spent four hours getting this done.

Issue not resolved

I connected with an online agent today who was supposed to correct the issue. After about 10 minute he indicated an in person appointment would be the only option. Unfortunately I have a March 6th appointment and instead of having a better and faster connection, I have a very slow connection while two internet options are connecting to the modem/router In addition the agent and his supervisor insisted the only way I could get the support is to pay an additional $99. The online agent did not and could correct the issue. I would like a refund of my pay,ent immediately. Also, the geek squad should be here before March 6th to resolve the issue.

Waste of time and money!

Well, needless to say The entire time the technician was attempting to set up the system All he did was complain about how outdated the extender was and I should purchase some type of Google mini mesh extenders for Best buy that cost over $200! I had already spent $150 just to have them come to the house. What a waste! Save Your Money! Watch a YouTube Tutorial and do it yourself.

What a disappointment!

We paid Geek Squad $130 (with a Total Tech membership) to install the wifi extender to only have an agent come to our house and tell us it won't work. The gal at Best Buy told us it was exactly what we needed after we explained our situation. The agent was polite and knowledgeable but was at our house less than 15 min telling us what we needed to purchase and replace to get us what we needed.

Horrible service from Best Buy and their 3rd party

The third part with Best Buy constantly reschedule to dates I didn’t ask for and they do it after I have scheduled with Best Buy TotalTech program! I feel like I am in 3 ring circus without the tents. Note I was scheduled to get the security cameras and door bells install and they were a NO SHOW! If I could give the third party a -star I would. Giving them and Best Buy a one is going against my principles.

I was under the impression that the Geek Squad would connect all of our devices when they did the install. That didn't happen. Unpacking the erro I could have done myself. Wasted my money.

Mesh system did not work with Centurylink

Since hooking back up after changes that were made my geek squad installing have had multiple issues. Swapped to try and fix dead spots and now it is worse.

Not happy at all

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could not get a live person on the phone so i went to the store and said i needed an in person visit FOR MY BUSINESS. The tech showed up a week later, walked in and said "I only do residential" and then turned around and left. I never got a refund of the $125.00 and attempted many times to get a live person in the phone with no success. Haven't been back to the store since and will not waste my money on The Geek Squad ever again.
