    Geek Squad installed my camera sys but only 7 out

    Geek Squad installed my camera DVR system but only 7 out of 8 cameras work and some kid ran into my car with his motor bike a week after cameras were installed and did not record anything (not happy)

    Geek Squad not able to get router working. Spent over an hour working on it. Wireless router unable to broadcast through a residential sheet rock wall to desktop about three feet away.

    At 10:43 a.m. Thurs. 7/8/21 I received a call from Jake Sanders of Geek Squad. Said he would be here at 12 noon. At 12:45 p.m. I called him back and he said he was on his way. At 1:53 p.m. he drove by the house, I sent a text to him and told him to come back I would be out waiting for him. He walked up with an attitude, didn't say sorry for being late, or for not calling. Asked why he was here because it wasn't on his work order. I showed him what I needed, He said he couldn't do it. Was gone by 2:06 p.m.

    Geek Squad Failed to Meet Expectations

    Agent that went to my house did not know how to install the router’s VPN advance feature which is the main reason I booked the service. I also briefed Best Buy in the service notes regarding my needs. Then agent failed to follow up with a resolution which he promised while on duty. As a result, the experience was poor and I would like my money back on my GeekSquad subscription.

    Attempt to install Eero mesh system failed

    Mesh router never worked after Geek Squad left. I ended up returning it to Best Buy. Calling the outsource Philippines for a “redo” was a joke.

    Had them install wifi and a few other things. Totally messed everything up. I run my business out of my home and I couldn't use any of my devices connected to it. Ended up picking up new equipment from my local provider, did a self install, and pretty sure since i couldn't use the modem i purchased from best buy, that they fried it because everything worked just fine before they did install. I only wanted to upgrade to the best of the best and it ended up costing my business lots of money cause it wasn't installed correctly.

    Evidently I asked for the wrong type of service (I was not able to speak to a person!), and the technician was not able to work on my problem. He spoke with his supervisor and I understood the charge would be reversed if I went to the store and had the Geeks there help me with my problem, which I did. Now, after I had long since forgotten about the original issue, I am being charged for the service call which was not at all helpful. I would like this charge reversed!

    The scheduled installer never came. Went to see about refund, but that has been delayed. I had to leave USA on business but my son has had no word from Best Buy yet. They told me they would call him the next day.

    My expectations were set to a higher level than what I paid for. Nothing was done any better or more than what I could do. Not worth the time or effort or $$$. Total let down.

    Asked for solution on getting WiFi throughout house and garage. Recommended fix that would cost over $2000. Did more research and found solution with mesh system that cost less than $1000.

    Best Buy Overbill and Missing Software Keys

    This service was never performed for 30 April 2021. This service was performed 19 May 2021. Why was I billed twice? In addition I received an invice for $399 for 3 years of Geek Tech Support and after I purchased the service contract I had Geek Squad do Computer Tune-Ups on both Desktop and Laptop Computers then I noticed the Software keys which I downloaded disappeared.... So yesterday I did not contact Best Buys to updated my computer memory sticks for fear of getting billed twice or whatever.

    On July 1, I purchased a google wifi system online with an installation service. The purchase was made on the basis that the technician would pick up the unit from the store for installation. On July 11, the technician arrived installed the service and much to my surprise stated that he needed to be paid for the item rushed out before I could call the store. Therefore I paid for the item twice. I assume this whole situation was because the technician wanted a commission on the purchase. I have called 3 times, given the runaround and finally put in a dispute with my credit card co for it.

    Agent was unable to fix problem. Technical ability was poor. Was to come today to make another attempt to install a new Back-UPS He did not show up. Did not call. I sat here all evening waiting for him show He took my old Backup. I want my old Back-ups returned I want a competent to complete the installation. Or better yet cancel my Total Tech membership as it is a waste of money. And refund what i paid

    Eero not good. Plus Best Buy wouldn't give refund on the $150 Netgear extender which didn't work because I had it over 20 days (hoping it would work) and it didn't work. Eero isn't much better.

    2 years of asking for help and nothing, they send people to check things out and agree something must be done and nothing after that.. your company takes money from me for “total tech” and never follow up to service what we need.. and have needed for 2 YEARS!

    My Geek Squad experience was terrible. The rep had a very bad attitude. I asked him a couple of questions, and he seemed very irritated with the questions and was not able to answer my questions. I purchased total tech so that I could use the services of the Geek Squad. His attitude was so bad I had to ask him to leave.

    Home WiFi Setup

    I paid $165 dollars to have my Home WiFi setup for my home computer. It worked for one day and then failed. It took 2 weeks to get another team out but they were not able to fix the issue. Lesson learned.
