Wireless - does not always work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I ordered that the Geek squad come to my house and install a wireless system I advised the person on the phone that I had thick walls. I was assured that they could install a system that would work. I said I had real thick walls with double metal mesh behind the plaster. No problem. As it turned out I was right. The walls are too thick for a wireless system. So I paid a $100 to Best Buy to confirm what I believed was correct.

Amazon Prime didn’t work for weeks on new tv.

Rip Off
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After at least 10 calls, cancelled appointments and some appointments kept t he last was a failure. The fellow gave me his tel no and said I could call if there were any problems since I have been trying to get things working for 7 months. But he left and things I hadn't checked were found to not be working and things that were working have now stopped working. No one cares enough to come back and fix things. Your service agreement is a rip off.

Installed routers

I call and was very disappointed with the customer service. They could not help me I waited also three weeks for my 1 st appointment and I have to wait another 2 Weeks before they could return to correct the problem. But they were quick to charge for the service. I truly won't use the service's anymore or recommend them to anyone. Very sad and disappointed.

Geek Squad is a terrible program

I had a scheduled appointment for help with setting up EERO to increase my internet service. Even though I was flooded with texts that they are coming in 4 hours, 1 hour--no one showed up, no one followed up. As soon as my one year is up, I will be cancelling.

Worst Geek squad setup I ever had incomplete

Girl claimed she didn't have time to rewire everything properly and finish setup. Left many of my devises' unplugged without telling me! Claimed she had to get to another appointment making me feel I did not count for anything. To this day I can not get this properly straightened out.

Geek could not help me!

The service that I needed could not be performed by the agent and indicated I would have to make an appointment to take my computer into the shop. It took several attempts to make an appointment and when I was able to get one it 2 weeks in the future. I ended up finding a technician who came to my that afternoon and solved the issue in about an hour.

Rearranged my schedule to be home, but received an email (about 8:45) then a phone call about 9 telling me the appointment was rescheduled for July 10th. Not a happy camper when you get notice at the last minute & can't revise my schedule.

Attempt to install Eero mesh system failed

Home WiFi Setup

It worked for one day and then failed. It took 2 weeks to get another team out but they were not able to fix the issue. Lesson learned.

Geek Squad

Supposed to come out today and I had a message on the phone that I could barely understand saying to cancel or reschedule. I called back immediately trying to get the technician out and was told I had to reschedule 3 days from today. Totally unacceptable and any other delays will result in a return of the wi fi equipment I am trying to get installed.

You would think that after the cost of both experts here at once I would tecievry better help than I fid considering my age 75 years !

Geek Squad Couldn't Install My New Router

They had problems trying to complete this task and even contacted my cable provider, Frontier, to see if they could help them with installing my new router. they were unable to complete this job and Frontier had to be scheduled to come & fix my problem.

geek squad bad experience

He did not know what to do and admitted he did not know it could be connected using the PC until I read the requirements to him. He thought I should return it. I eventually asked him to leave and send us a different tech. Next, he could not get the new Samsung TV connected. Overall he was a bad experience.
