geek squad bad experience

He did not know what to do and admitted he did not know it could be connected using the PC until I read the requirements to him. He thought I should return it. I eventually asked him to leave and send us a different tech. Next, he could not get the new Samsung TV connected. Overall he was a bad experience.

All they did was tell me what was wrong with my new equipment and how it wouldn’t work. I solved my own problems and anyone think it’s not work I invite you to come check it out. Not sure why I paid for the subscription to the geek squad!

Geek Squad failed to wipe MacBook and malware was still installed when he downloaded the malware bites causing loss of billed tech support cost along with the maleware byte cost.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The woman did mot know what she was here for, she said it was to help me with my WiFi sat up but my wif i was working fine, I knew that because the tech had been out 2 days prior to hook up my new T v and spotlights and also Comcast was here at the same time to make my WiFi more usable ! You would think that after the cost of both experts here at once I would tecievry better help than I fid considering my age 75 years !

Geek Squad

Supposed to come out today and I had a message on the phone that I could barely understand saying to cancel or reschedule. I called back immediately trying to get the technician out and was told I had to reschedule 3 days from today. Totally unacceptable and any other delays will result in a return of the wi fi equipment I am trying to get installed.

GEEK Squad contact is worthless!!!!!!

I went to the store changedmitmout under warranty and had to buy a more expensive system becayse they didn't have what I originally purchased. It is si5ting in my office unopenrd because I cannot get in contact with GEEK squadmin Corpus Christi to install.

Terrible Service

Upon calling in no one could tell me why it was rescheduled or when it was rescheduled. Additionally when I went in to my email to reschedule, the app showed that service had already been done so now I have to call in again. Worst service ever!

Geek Squad is a waste of money for me. Total fail

Technician refused to install my existing signal boosters saying he had fixed the problem without them. Not true. Very weak signal and I must carry the signal with me from room to room. Total waste of money after two visits.

Nothing was changed

Line at new location supposedly work working, contractor says otherwise. Not sure if I've received a credit for this. While other installations in the house went well, the squad failed to show up the day I was promised and after a call at noon by me wondering why they missed their 4 hour window, they said they were still coming out that day but they never showed up and I lost an entire day. The reschedule went as planned.

I'm at Best Buy now and 4 different people are unable to access the proper screen to cancel not even 2 managers can canceI. They told me to not answer the door.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The guy would not help me troubleshoot any of my devices which I was told he would I have called my consultant three times with no call back he took my password and copied it and then he left my network wide open and didn’t tell me and there were five users compromising my cameras and 35 people in my router by the time I got it I have to redo everything it’s over six days later and I’m still working on it unacceptable do not hire geek squad

Not impressed

He was at house for 2 hours and still did not get new router working. Called our internet provider and was told simple plug and play. We installed the router with no problem. Now I’m very skeptical about what technician did for 2 hours.

I did not mind that but I was a bit annoyed that my one year subscription to the geek squad has started one month before I receive the equipment installed correctly

No one knows nothing really embarrassing if you asking me. I was quoted different prices and told different advice. I ended canceling my order. On the bright side it forced me to solve my issue on my own. Maybe I should be working on the geek squad....

Not their fault, as they apparently normally install home theater systems. . The package says it works with comcast - but it does not do everything it should. My internet was a totaol mess.
