    Newly installed eero equipment not sure it's worki

    The agent sold me a better eero system and install it but I not finding it's providing better service. My text messages are not going through and I'm getting a message that I have no network. I don't know if it's related to the new setup or not.

    The Geek squad representative arrived & was very nice. He could not fix the problem, however, so we had to call Brightspeed, who replaced all the cables and that did correct the issue. We now have Wi-Fi.

    Poor Quality of Workmanship

    Got new computer setup on May 24, 2023. Agent did not completely transfer my microsoft word documents so am missing vital business ones. MSN folders were not all transferred to Gmail and am missing vital information. Trend spyware not correctly set up so was hacked the same day. Printer was not set up correctly and has had to be reinstalled 3 times since his visit 5 days ago. I scheduled a new home visit for the earliest availabe on June 9th to address the MSN folders and Microsoft word documents not completely transferred. I have been on the phone daily with Geek Squad since the visit due to varying problems. Prior to this setup, I was having continuous issues with my old computer, Geek Squad said that a new computer will take care of all the issues. $1200 later, I have a whole new set of issues and I am only able to use my computer minimally. Two of the documents that I'm missing are critical. Have had Geek Squad services for many years. They used to be thorough and capable of fixing things. The quality of technicians since Covid have gone downhill. Things aren't easily resolved and new problems arise when they fix something. I am not able to resolve issues in one phone call anymore. The homevisit was a disaster and has created unrelenting stress trying to deal with the issues. I feel trepidation regarding the upcoming visit. Fear that wouldn't be able to completely get my documents and folders and this person will create new issues.

    Geek Squad Customer Service - CompleteDisaster!!

    Terrible experience! The AI-driven customer service is HORRIBLE! I was on the phone for 50 minutes to set my appt, and then they canceled my in-home appt (twice) the day before (via email) without letting me know why, then their auto scheduling system sent me a note asking me to reschedule. Seriously?! I didn’t cancel the appt, in the first place, the Geek Squad did. Best Buy needs to get their act together.

    Wanted my printer set to scan to email. Instead, set up a scan app on my laptop and two days later, it didn't work any more. Wasted in home repair!

    We got Wi-Fi set up but took the entire Hour and is a little hard to use. I was surprised to be charged $130.00 for the visit after I have Total Tech.

    Installed new internet router. Convinced me to purchase a new router to fix a Kindle that wouldn't connected. Had to spend for the router to fix the problem caused by Best Buy selling me an outdated Kindle only 6 months old. Not happy.

    We have been Total Tech members for years. Wi-Fi not working . Took five days to get service. Geek squad person shows up, spent an hour and “forgot” his laptop. Promised to arrive next day - NO SHOW and NO Communication. Waited two more days - again NO SHOW and NO communication. Have spent three hours on phone with no commitment other than. 24 hour window five days from now. Totally unacceptable!!

    This is the worst thing experience. First they told me they were able to come and set it up on my roof and then they came and they said no we can’t go on the roof. We’re not able to do it and wasted my whole week.
