The Geek squad tech was here on time. He was pleasant and had a lot of patience with Spectrum, something I would not have. It seemed to take forever for Spectrum to get things set. The router and modem we purchased were up and running shortly after Spectrum did their thing.

Geek Squad technicians installed my new router and set up my networks so no one had to make changes to access them. Not only did they set them up, but researched them to make sure the hard-wire and Wi-Fi made sense and all worked. Outstanding support!!

This provides a review of my purchases for a “Ring” system: Orbi AC3000 routers (3 units), Ring Doorbell 2, Chime Pro, 2 Floodlight Cams, doorbell install, and home Wi-Fi setup. I will review the individual components which were mostly quite good. However, their merits were masked by systemic weaknesses in the Best Buy system for communications and project management: Communications: I didn’t know the Wi-Fi consultant was scheduled until he called to confirm his appointment the next day. No one from Best Buy ever told me about the schedule for the doorbell install consultant’s schedule so I did the work myself. Project Management: You sold pieces that were supposed to become an integrated system but there was no integration planned for or provided. You don’t have an electrical contractor on staff so the Wi-Fi was installed before the floodlight cams could be tested. This proved to be a small problem, presumably because of the masonry construction of my house.

An intelligent dummy like me needed their help and they SOLVED everything and educated me on setting up an EERO Wi-fi and Sonos speakers with iPhone-ipad SONO music APPS. VERY VERY informative,patient and would hire them again in a second if I needed help.

The agent was very patience while setting up my Samsum watch. Went over the instructions of how to download what I needed. He went over all the features on the watch. Showed me how to connect it with my phone.
