The Geek squad set up person was punctual, competent, explained the set up as he was doing it. Asked why we had chosen certain components, and understood when we had got the advice from the NYT. We had purchased two MESH packages, thinking we might need one master and four repeaters. The set up person only needed one master router and two repeaters to get house wide coverage, thereby saving us money by our returning the unneeded MESH package. All in all, a good experience.

I had to replace the router provided by the cable company. I needed a dual band modem/router that would work with Wifi extenders. The technician (Geek) arrived on time and was great. I probably could have done this myself in about 4 hours with calls to their help line and some frustration, but the tech had me up and running in 40 minutes. It was well worth the cost and no frustration.

The agents were knowledgeable, efficient and took time to explain the installation and what to anticipate in the operation of the network.

Technician was very knowledgeable and friendly with my unique concern (trying to hard line physical outlets in a house with pre-built in Ethernet and wifi enabled). He got it working. Unfortunately max speed of old Ethernet cables from the year 2000 was 100 mgs/second but at least i learned it could be done!

Geek Squad set up our system and did a great job. I am not really good at setting up this technology. Would always recommend them.

The Geek Squad installers had some initial technical issues with the installation but resolved them and completed a successful installation.

I recently beefed up my home Wifi with a new Linksys three node system. We also changed our modem at the same time, getting rid of the modem/router combo unit we had. The Geeks were professional and did a great job. They encountered several issues as they proceeded but stuck with it and got the job done to our liking. Highly recommend Geek Squad and Best Buy!

Geeks provided installation for the Orbi router and satellites perfect. They arrived on time, installed, tested and provided information to me so I can maintain the units. The best.
