The tech installed a new eero 6+ wifi 3 unit mesh system and a Linksys 5-port switch to replace a 15 year old Linksys wifi router. The tech arrived on time, explaining the setup process and answered all of my question. The time to uninstall old units and install new units was very fast and went without any issues.

Two Geek Squad experts came in and set up the wi-fi system -- they used the eero triband router I purchased at Best Buy plus integrated other eero gear I already had. They did a masterful job of extending the network throughout my home and to both front and back patios. Service is what brings me back to BB.

I'm 57, Irish and have a bad neck, shoulders, back, lumbar discs and hips. The Geek Squad installer worked while I watched. No busting my head, cussing or having to be pulled out from under the desk installing wires and parts for me, no entering numbers, no looking for install info... and I pride myself in doing things myself! The Netgear Orbi, Netgear VDSL2/ADSL2 modem, three Cat 6 cables and set-up work perfectly! And the Geek Squad Tech's parents should be very proud of their son! Well worth the $150 price (although, I have worked too cheap all these years, I see...har-har!)

Very efficient with the setup, as well as explaining the system patiently.

Normally I would setup the wireless myself but time was not a luxury that I have. I went ahead an purchased the service since they were installing the Ring cameras in and around the house. Having someone that is familiar with the camera system and getting it setup on the wireless saved me a lot of time to take care of other things I needed to do. Resolved WiFi connection on my laptop immediately. Answered all of my questions. It’s a user friendly. I will recommend his to my friends.

Actually I did not use the booster from Best Buy. My son had given us one that was exactly the same that he could not use any more so when the geeks came out to install they used his and took the new one back. The geeks were just amazing and got the booster working perfectly.

If they keep taking stuff away it's going to get more terrible and more terrible with what geek squad does if you take something in you have to plead them to actually do something for you I know when I go there I don't expect to have to do it myself with them telling me what to do I could do that over the phone

I bought geek squad service when I purchase new appliances from Best Buy because of the economics of delivery installation. I really glade I did. Not only for the appliances but every installation I need. Networking is not my specialty it’s there’s. They did a great job of not only installing my new network but of teaching me the fine advanced setting options.
