I have a large apartment and was looking for aomething that could cover a large room. Since it started getting colder my apartment has gotten super dry and staticy. This worked great with little to no static and i find i breath better now too. I have it in the living room during the day and the bedroom at night. It is super quiet and lightweight. Having it on constantly i only have to refill every few days. Would recommend.

Works great! Love the aesthetic appearance. Love the large capacity. Depending on the flow amount the full tank can last a few days. Even has a little blue/white light that glows beneath for a night light which can be turned off.

I was in need of an humidifier that was easy to not only use but read the control panel for my parents. My parents are up there in age and would not be able to handle very complex programing or menu system. I am so grateful this Humidifier is very easy to setup, use and read the menu on the device itself. Out of the package it was very easy to put together, just have to make sure to get every little tape they have on the inside and oil tray. It can hold quiet a bit of water, I used a gallon of distilled water and there was still room for more. I especially like how it came with a demineralization cartridge for those who decide to use tap water. However I would strongly recommend to only use distilled water for longevity of the humidifier. It comes with extra aroma pads that you can place the essential oils on which is a nice feature. I really like how stable the humidifier is on the nice looking legs. The menu is very easy to read and very simplistic , you pretty much have settings of how much mist output to use along with a programable humidify setting starting at 35% going up by 5%. The clean indicator button is a nice touch however its more of a timer based than an actual senor to identify if dirty. The little night light setting is cute but is really more cosmetic I find as it will not really light anything up and more for a nice ambiance setting. Overall this is a great , simple easy to use, easy to read operational menu that I recommend for anyone who wants a nice quiet humidifier.

Awesome Humidifier, Keeps us Breathing Easy!

We ran a small night stand humidifier all winter long due to the furnace drying out our skin and the occasional nose bleed from the dry air. This spring, when I was putting it away, I asked my Google assistant if people run their humidifiers during the summer too…well low and behold the AC units dry out the air just like the furnaces! The Homedics Ultrasonic Humidifier is awesome! It’s just what we needed for our bedroom. It’s a big enough unit to keep the whole bedroom nice and comfortable. I also love that we don’t need to clutter up a nightstand with a messy drippy table top unit. It has a 4, 8 or 12 hour timer shut off which is nice and an auto shut off when it’s empty. We set the timer before bed and cool mist all night long!!! It makes no noise and has a night light which you can shut off if you want. I also love the size of the tank! It claims 70 hours of run time depending on your mist level! We only use distilled water so it’s the purest water you can get… keeps the units running cleaner over the years and less mineralization. I wish it had an app that I could use to control it but It’s really not needed. One button push before bed and done! I thought it was also a nice touch to have the essential oil pads as an option. I probably won’t use that but it is a cool feature that a lot of people will love. Overall… Really awesome product! Peaceful comfortable sleeps a head!!! We are also going to buy a second one to put near some indoor plants we have to keep them nice and humid! Plants love that!!! Really love my Homedics Humidifier!! Awesome product!!!

    Modern Design, Enhanced Comfort

From its sleek and modern aesthetic to its range of practical features, this humidifier has exceeded my expectations in enhancing the comfort of my living space. One of the standout positives is its simple and modern design. Its contemporary appearance seamlessly blends with any home decor, adding a modern touch without being too sore on the eyes. The large tank capacity of this humidifier is worth highlighting: with its ample size, the need for frequent refills is significantly reduced compared to other models I have had in the past. The visible mist feature is great as it is a simple visual cue to let you know the unit is functioning as expected. This visual indicator allows for easy monitoring and adjustment of settings as needed. Another impressive aspect is its quiet operation. The device operates almost silently even at the highest mist level, ensuring a peaceful and quiet environment. Customizability is a key advantage of this humidifier. It offers adjustable mist levels and % humidity, allowing for fine-tuning of humidity settings that can be used to tailor the experience to your liking. The auto-off timer feature adds convenience to the overall experience. You can set a designated time period after which the humidifier will automatically turn off. This functionality not only saves energy but also provides peace of mind, eliminating the need to manually shut off the device. The inclusion of a toggleable night light is a nice-to-have feature. The light adds some ambiance while being is gentle enough to leave on in the bedroom at night without interrupting sleep. My personal favorite feature of this humidifier is the easy-to-use aromatherapy pads. These pads can be infused with essential oils, which are then inserted into the base of the humidifier. As the mist is released, it carries the pleasant scent of the essential oils throughout the room. Overall, this unit packs all the functionality you would expect in a high-quality, modern humidifier while also offering some nice enhancements all in one aesthetically-pleasing package.

The HoMedics Ultrasonic Humidifier has greatly improved the atmosphere in my home. As someone who suffers from dry skin and respiratory issues, I was on the lookout for a reliable humidifier, and this product has exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the ultrasonic technology used in this humidifier is fantastic. It creates a fine mist that is dispersed evenly throughout the room, instantly increasing the humidity levels. I was amazed at how quickly I noticed a difference in the air quality. The whisper-quiet operation ensures that it doesn't disturb my sleep or daily activities, making it suitable for use in any room. The large water tank capacity is another standout feature. With a capacity of around a gallon, it can provide continuous mist for hours without needing frequent refills. The tank is easy to fill and clean, thanks to the wide opening and removable parts. The HoMedics Ultrasonic Humidifier also features adjustable mist control, enabling me to customize the level of humidity in my environment. This is particularly useful, as different rooms may require different humidity levels. Design-wise, this humidifier is sleek and modern, blending seamlessly with any decor. The touch-sensitive control panel is intuitive and easy to use, allowing me to adjust settings with a simple touch. The compact size ensures it doesn't take up much space. In terms of performance, I couldn't be happier. Not only has the HoMedics Ultrasonic Humidifier relieved my dry skin, but it has also improved my overall breathing and sleep quality. The HoMedics Ultrasonic humidifier is a whisper quiet humidifier in small stylish package. Being someone who lives in a climate that gets cold in the winter and having natural gas heat, a humidifier helps me combat dry skin. This unit is much easier to operate and maintain than my other humidifier, and with stylish good looks it doesn’t look out place. The unit comes with three essential oil pads and a demineralization cartridge that’s good for 30 to 40 filing’s depending on how hard the water is you use in it. I used filtered water without the cartridge and have not noticed any white particles on any surrounding furniture yet which is the purpose of the demineralization cartridge if you use hard water. The units long slender profile makes it easy to fill the tank with filtered water from a refrigerator. With a tank capacity of 1.47 gallons the machine does not need to be filled often especially on the low setting. I filled mine about 65 percent full the first time and after two days of constant use it was still about 40 percent full. The front has touch controls for the settings and all the lights for the controls and display can be completely turned off. The direction of the mist is easily controlled by turning the piece on top where it comes out of. Overall, it’s a great addition to my household that will bring relief from colds, dry skin and more.

I live in the Midwest and during winter our house gets very dry, so dry that blankets and sheets create static electricity. We normally have a few humidifiers running to help combat the dryness in the house. The ones we currently have are ugly and do not fit in with the rest of the house. This one however looks great, modern, and clean looking. I love having it in the living room and it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb! It also has an ambient light that shines on the bottom that makes it look sorta like a spaceship. You can also disable the light, and the display can also be turned off. This is helpful when placed in a dark bedroom to help with sleep. Aside from having great aesthetics it does a great job of humidifying the air. This took only a few minutes to get setup and working. I added a few drops of peppermint oil on the essential oil pads. This made the humidify air smell nice and cleared up some sinus issues. HoMedics provided three pads to use and they are easy to change out on the bottom of the machine. The machine is easy to fill as the top over slides off and you can fill with a water jug or fill at a sink. The other ones I have had you had to unscrew and fill up then screw the cap back on and place it correctly back on the base to work. This one took away the difficulty of filling and made it very easy! HoMedics also provide a demineralization cartridge (first time for any of humidifiers I've had), the claim is that it will help with white dust that humidifiers usually produce. I'm not sure how well the demineralization cartridge works since I have only used the humidifier for a few days, but fingers crossed it will work or at least minimize the white dust. This humidifier is ultra quiet and produces a fine mist that gets pulled into the air. Even on the highest setting of humidity, the table did not have any type of dampness. The other ones I have when on high the humidity is heavy and falls down on the table producing wet spots. The front display allows you to set a humidity level, the machine will pause when it reaches the level you select and start again when the level falls. This is a great feature as others the machine is just always on until they run out of water. You can also just have it continually run and setting the humidity level is optional. A red light will display once its out of water and needs to be refilled. Cleaning seems like it would be pretty easy as water is only in the top part and is not fed throughout the machine. If you have a long bottle cleaner it will make it easy to reach the bottom of the water tank to clean. This is great as humidifiers can get dirty/moldy pretty quickly, so I like that this one comes apart easily to clean. Overall I like this humidifier as it works really good! I also love how it looks and that it will blend in nicely sitting in my living room. The cost also seems in line with a good humidifier and wouldn't hesitate to pick up a second one if needed.

    Works good in practice

As someone who’s suffered from easy nose bleeds my entire life, I’ve been through my share of humidifiers. I have a full house humidifier attached to the HVAC system and run portable units next to my bed and on my desk at work. This HoMedics unit looked like it would fit into the decor better than the more generic/industrial looking units I’ve had in the past. Upon opening the box and unpacking the unit, the form factor seemed, for lack of better words, ‘weird’. A clear cover tube that slides over the top of the tall skinny ‘bucket’. After actually hooking and filling things up, it makes perfect sense and works great in practice. No more flipping water reservoirs upside down, unscrewing a cap and filling them. I just lift the whole ‘tube’ out, and fill it from the high flow tub faucet. The ‘weird’ form factor works great in practice, and hopefully will help this one last longer with no leaks. I love that you can turn all the lights off completely. I like a dark, blacked out bedroom when I’m sleeping, and this one will go dark. The unit puts out a nice amount of moisture, has 3 levels and humidistat so you should be able to get a setting that works for you. The option to run essential oils is a bonus, but I haven’t tried it yet. My only complaint, and it annoys me enough that I will deduct one star for it. There were a couple stickers on the unit, including a large one on the clear tube. When I peeled them off they did NOT come off cleanly and left a sticky residue on the tube. Otherwise this unit is great so far and hopefully will last longer than others have.

Since I was very young the change of weather always affected me in some way, from not being able to breathe properly to runny nose, I did not always find the remedy and many times I had to get used to it. Fortunately nowadays there are devices like this HoMedics ultrasonic humidifier very practical and easy to use, and in these increasingly extreme weather changes, personally it is a great help to breathe well and sleep better. In the box comes the humidifier, the essential oil pads, a demineralization cartridge and an instruction manual and warranty information. There is practically nothing to assemble, just remove all the stickers and plastics that protect the device and it is ready to use. The first thing to do is fill the water tank which has a capacity of 1.47 gallons of water, then put the cover on, plug the cord into the outlet, turn it on and you're ready to go. In my experience it was easier to pour the water directly into the tank with a pitcher than to remove the tank and fill it directly with the faucet, it is a bit cumbersome. On the front, which is where all the buttons are placed, you can adjust the humidity percentage from 35% to 55%, you can also set the timer, the steam power (3 levels), activate or deactivate the light on the buttons and the bottom light, there is also a cleaning button that will be activated when it is necessary. The performance is very good, the humidifier it fulfills its purpose satisfactorily and one of the features that I like the most is that it makes practically no noise, considering that you can turn off the button lights and the bottom light, it is a great relief if you want to use it during the night in the sleeping hours. Without filling the tank completely the water has lasted quite a long time, I have not had to add more water until after a few days. At the bottom there is a compartment if you want to use aromas with the steam, just put the aromatic oil on the pads, not directly in the water, close the compartment and you can enjoy the aroma that most pleases you. Also if the water used is hard water, it is recommended to use the demineralization cartridge so that no residues are generated, white powder in this case. The design is very interesting, because it is a not very big product but for its type if a little, at the same time the combination of very white plastic, a transparent cover and wood, looks very good, it does not necessarily look like a humidifier, but it is pleasing to the eye. The quick use guide explains very well what steps to follow depending on what you want to do, the manual is even more explicit but important to read before using for the first time. All in all, this humidifier delivers what it promises and is a very easy to use product, it is worth the price and I can certainly recommend it.

    Stylish Ultrasonic Humidifier

The HoMedics Ultrasonic Humidifier is awesome! I live in a very dry climate in the Southwest US and having a quality humidifier makes a big difference in comfort and overall health. Since using it, I have noticed that I have less of a dry nose and reduced allergy symptoms. Pros: • Unboxing: It was a very quick unboxing with minimal wasted packaging and a quick setup. It took maybe 5-10 minutes from start to finish. • Long lasting: It is rated for up to 70 hours of use before needing to be refilled. I would assume this is on the lowest setting in ideal weather conditions. I live in a desert climate and it lasts about 48 hours on the 45% humidity setting. • 360-degree mist nozzle: As it says, you can turn the mist nozzle any direction to aim the mist. I like this as most humidifiers just shoot the mist straight up. • Quiet: This humidifier is silent. If you are a light sleeper, then this would be great for you. • Easy to fill: It has a top-fill tank that holds 1.47 gallons per its user manual. It has a line at the top to indicate the max fill. I use distilled water which is preferred but if you use tap water make sure to include the demineralization cartridge. Humidifiers are known to deposit fine white dust onto surfaces with hard water. • Clean reminder: It has a light that turns red when it is time to clean the ultrasonic membrane. Taking it apart is simple and described well in the user manual. • Optional aromatherapy: It includes 3 essential oil pads if you want to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy. I haven’t tried this yet, but it seems straightforward to use. You put a few drops of the essential oil on the pad and place it in oil tray located on the backside near the base. Cons: • Honestly, I don’t have any complaints about this humidifier. It does exactly what it says it will do and is intuitive to use. If you are looking for an affordable, sleek, and easy to use/clean humidifier then I would highly recommend this product. We ended up putting it in our nursery.

    Pleasant looks, large tank, tall

Going back to a trusted brand, this is well thought device. It looks nice for a humidifier. Silky white with a mid-century pattern, wood looking legs and covered in clear plastic that gives it a pleasant look. It's taller than most humidifiers, so I don't need to put it on top of a stool, with legs that makes it easier to clean around it. Controls are tactile, and intuitive. There are lights on some of the buttons and a display that shows the target humidity level when idle. It has settings for on/off, timer up to 12 hours, 3 speeds, either target humidity or continuous, and the lights on the keys can be dimmed or turned off. It also has a white light that illuminates the floor as a night light and that can also be turned on or off. Holds about 1 1/2 gallons and it's meant to be refilled from the top using a pitcher or bottle. Since the tank detaches, it can also be filled with a faucet, although since it's a tall container I find it preferable to fill it with a pitcher. It also comes with one demineralization cartridge to be left inside the tank. The air intake is on the bottom and one can optionally add a pad moisten with essential oils. I'm using it as a humidifier, but it's an option and the tray is very easy to pull. I really like how easy is to clean: The plastic clear cover comes off. This is where the misting nozzle is. Only caveat is that it attracts dust and can be hard to keep spotless. Then the whole water container with the ultrasonic mister comes off the base. Once the container is emptied, the mister that makes the base of the container can be unscrewed and cleaned separately, so no need to reach deep inside the container too often.

HoMedics made a humidifier that looks as good as it operates. This humidifier is a very nice-looking unit, much nicer than the $30-40 ones I have purchased before. It is primarily white plastic with some nice wood-look accents. The legs and the top both have that wood look. The humidifier has no physical buttons; they are all touch-sensitive buttons. I'm a little old school when it comes to buttons, I usually prefer physical buttons, but these work pretty well. The operation of the humidifier is pretty simple. The buttons you have are power, mist volume, brightness, humidity level, timer, and a touch button lock. It has a digital display that shows the settings and humidity level. The humidifier is in three basic pieces, the base, a transparent cover, and the water reservoir. The base houses the controls and electronics. The transparent cover seems to be mostly a decorative piece, though it does have a spout to direct the humidity around the room. The water reservoir is removable, so you can take it to a faucet to fill it up or just remove the cover and fill it where it stands. I just got this a few weeks ago, and so far, it has worked really well. I've used it the past week along with the A/C since that really dries the air. I am very happy with it to this point and will update this review should anything change.

This humidifier has come in handy at just the right time! I live in the desert and the air is insanely dry right now with summer around the corner. There was an everlasting coat of dust on just about everything in my house that was driving me crazy, and it was getting unpleasant to sleep overnight because I kept waking up with a horrible cotton mouth. After getting this I have been sleeping significantly better and the dust problem has also improved. The dust hasn't been eradicated but it is much more manageable now. I like that it has a built-in diffuser to add your favorite essential oil and luckily my favorite scents are pet safe so I have been using it a bunch! Nothing like lavender dreams haha. There are three output levels to choose from and I stuck with the highest setting. I found that I was able to go just under 2 days before needing to refill the reservoir. The styling is also pretty nice! It can fit with just about any style or theme. It is on the larger side so you're definitely going to want to make sure it is in a sturdy place you can easily get to for refills and such. Overall I'd say this is a great humidifier that gets the job done with ease!
