It keeps the room at a nice constant temperature so it works for our purpose. I'm not sure how it would cool the space listed though, as we only cool about 1/5 of the space.

My only 2 gripes is I purposefully purchased this cause by the numbers it seemed to be the quietest one you can buy but it was kind of noisy. When the fan alone was running it was reasonable but when the compressor kicked on it was kind of noisy. It wasn’t so noisy I couldn’t sleep with it but could of been better. My other gripe is this should be Bluetooth/wifi enabled, that would of been real nice. The price was good and like i said it cooled off my large high ceiling bedroom well.

Cools good but SF is not accurate.

Room environment conditions such as ceiling height, sunlight, number of windows/ doors and level of insulation can affect cooling efficiency and there are ways to increase the capacity of these units. There could be other reasons for the unit to not cool- temperature setting could be too high, or the exhaust hose may be need re-installation to avoid the heat from coming back into the room. Cools, but not well for bigger rooms

But does not keep my living room (that's closed off to other rooms) cool. After 1 year of use (only during summer months) it started making a high pitch squealing sound but only in COOL mode (A/C). After 2 years of owning this I would not recommend wasting your money. This is the 2nd portable air conditioner I've owned and both have a terrible output for cold air, especially in 90+ degree weather.

We use it in the summer months and it handles the load on the hottest days. Serious dehumidification capabilities, it can fill a bucket in 24 hrs. Great for comfort cooling!
