We are very pleased with this unit. It is a smaller footprint than the older unit and seems to be more cost effective.We have this on an enclosed back porch of about 10' x 16' and it seems to cool the area just fine. Very pleased.

It helped cool my downstairs of about 1,000 square feet with another unit. The unit worked well but did not seem to get as cold as another unit I had with comparable specs. There was not a huge difference though.

We have central a/c but upstairs does not cool off enough. Our window a/c went out on us. We did not want to continue hauling a window a/c in & out of the window, as we are senior citizens. We had to increase our circuit amp to 20 amps for this powerful unit. It is worth every penny. This unit is cheaper than installing a permanent room a/c. We are extremely comfortable with this unit.

It cools down the living room and dining room very well if I don't run the extra fan. They are about 450 sqft combined.

Gets the job done

The only complaint I have is that with my windows, it takes some rigging to get the exhaust installed. The rim of my windowsill was to high and blocked the hole. They need a taller window adapter

This works much better and keeps the room cooler. Seems like an excellent unit. I only gave it four stars cause we only have had it a short time. If it proves dependable over time, I will revise to five stars.

Place tube on back-put other end into window frame-Plug in & Enjoy Cold air to your desired temp. I use it in our Living room & Dining Room Combo along with kitchen area which is over the space designed for but keeps all very comfortable all day in 90' degree weather in PA. Never have to drain any water. Simply clean off filters once a week and we love it.

Little noisy, takes forever

Also seems to take several hours to cool a room that is hot. However once it does get going, it seems to cool fairly well for the price we paid
