It is very high quality and works great.

Only thing I don’t like is that sometimes you have to turn it off and turn it back on for the cool air to start again. Other than that it’s been a pleasure to have.

This really helps cool down our 1700 sq ft house with a pedestal fan a few feet away it gives us a lot of relief. We do have another portable air conditioner at the other end of the house and they kept us comfortable.

The unit is quite loud with the AC going, but it's an air conditioner so can't expect too much. Works well, would definitely recommend.

Great solution for a small space
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We hit a couple straight weeks in the high 90's which made running the A/C for a large, 2-story house an expensive proposition. So we left the house warm (about 77) and used this unit to cool the Master suite (about 300 sq ft) down to 68 so we could sleep. Worked great! Sound: You'll know it's running! It's not quiet, but it's not a bad noise. In fact it's a pretty good "white noise" for covering up traffic and siren sounds outside. Installation: Not a problem, but it must be close to a window, and while the large diameter exhaust hose is flexible, it's not as flexible as you'd get from a clothes dryer hose, so the unit is forced to sit out in the room a couple of feet. Not exactly unobtrusive, but well worth it for the result. So whether you need to cool a small, unairconditioned space, or one room in a larger house, this is a great solution.

It does work and will cool your room, but you kind a need to be close to it really feel the effects. And, it tends to run hot in the back, funnily enough, and is messy in terms of the collection of water. Even when you connect the recommended hose, there still tends to be spillage. If you can go with a window air conditioner and somehow make that work, that is recommended. This is just too messy. If you have no choice, I suppose this is a good option for you.

Posted .We are sorry to hear this ! Our Portable Air Conditioners work best in enclosed, well insulated spaces. Room environment conditions such as ceiling height, sunlight, number of windows/ doors and level of insulation can affect cooling efficiency and there are ways to increase the capacity of these units. There could be other reasons for the unit to not cool- temperature setting could be too high, the dust filter could be dirty, or the air outlet could be blocked.
The exhaust hose does produce some amount of heat, but the coverage area is very little for it to really impact the effectiveness of the unit.

At the time when I was getting the product, the employee told me I had to contact the manufacturer in order to get the proper part. But it turned out i had the actual part in the box. I recommend it because it has 3 settings on it: A.C., Fan, and dehumidifier. It cools down 1 room. But blows out decent air! I recommend it!!

I started using it in June and it got me through a Summer of working from home. It is very powerful and was able to cool off my sleep / work space. You can hear it running but it is not too loud. Good unit but flimsy hose

That's it. It is cool near the vent 50cm, but all other space is still hot. I put hose out, no hose extension, simple seal at garage gaps and openings. Not heater integrated.

Cool enough but too loud and bulky

To empty the water the whole unit needs to be unhooked to get to the back to release it. It has not dropped below 71 degrees. It needs a handle on top & sides though it has casters. It is not what I expected but too big to take back, barely fit in my car taking it home.
