Not a lot of power

It's a heat wave again in NYC and the best it can cool my bedroom to is 80 degrees (which is still way better than the 105 it is today). Doors are closed, curtains drawn but it can't come anywhere near the 70 degrees I've set it to target. On a day with a high of 84, it could only achieve 71. Maybe a 15000 BTU would have worked better, but this is NYC and the bedroom isn't that big. I'm tossing it at the end of summer and will start the journey over next year. A big disappointment.
