Customers are saying
Customers express satisfaction with the 450 Sq. Ft. Portable Air Conditioner's cooling power and its ability to cool their entire apartment quickly. They also appreciate its easy setup and portability. However, some customers find the noise level to be a bit loud on the high setting. Additionally, it requires a window to be open in order to use it, which may not be ideal for all users.

Works but when compressor kicks on...it's loud
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a nice system and does the job, but LOUD. It worked when I had no AC, but you have to keep it running to keep the temperature consistent
No, I would not recommend this to a friend Cool!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exhaust installation was a "snap" and length is enough to give the unit ample space to maneuver. What used to be a warm room is now comfortably cool. May not be whisper quiet but reasonably and tolerably audible.

Posted .We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you because of this portable air conditioner. Like any other electrical device, this unit will create some sounds when operating due to the powerful compressor working to cool the space you need it to. Our units work best in enclosed, well insulated spaces. Room environment conditions such as ceiling height, sunlight, number of windows/ doors and level of insulation can affect cooling efficiency and there are ways to increase the capacity of these units. There could be other reasons for the unit to not cool- temperature setting could be too high, or the exhaust hose may need re-installation to avoid the heat from coming back into the room. Please do give us a call at 1-800-474-2147, Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (EST), or send us an email at usinfo@jmatek.com with the reference code number BBC1021. We look forward to making this right for you. Thank You !

Good For Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this unit as it was the only available AC unit in Lexington, KY available as ours had died. While it's not suitable for our living room, it was good in a pinch and will be used for the guest room next year.
