It is very simple to hook up and get going. It comes with a remote control too! It was such a relief after getting this. I could not believe how well this cools! It also has a feature to de-humidify which can be very useful too! Out of all the selections available I have to say this is exactly the one you would want to have! It's not overly loud either by the way which is another very import feature!! I have it in my living room. If I had it in my bedroom I would probably turn into a popsicle as well as it cools! ha ha

Noise is little loud on high setting but that is expected. It cools the area (400 sf) fast and does not consume a lot of power. I like the wheels and makes it easy to move.

It very adequately cooled a 16 x 13 bedroom with an attached bath (which is not closed off). The ceiling in this room is vaulted, so the unit definitely had its work cut out for it! We used this during some of the hottest days of 2016 in inland San Diego County. Venting it out the window is a bit of a pain as the components to do so are very cheaply made, hence the 4 star rating.

A little loud to me but I have sensitive ears. Rest of the family thinks it's quiter than most. Would recommend.

This works. My room is the further one away from our a/c unit outside. Therefore, it receives less cool air. I finally have a cool room in a hot summer.
