So during really hot summer days, the temp doesn't drop below 80 even on high. However, it would be unbearable without some air-conditioning so I'm happy. It is slightly loud. And I expected it to automatically turn off when it reaches it's target temperature, but the fan continues to run even when the cooling shuts down. So it's a slight inconvenience to turn it on and off when I need it to conserve energy.

Like any other electrical device, this portable air conditioner will create some sound when operating due to the powerful compressor working to cool the space you need it to.
When the desired level of temperature is reached, the compressor turns off but the fan continues to run. You can set the timer on the unit, to turn off the air conditioner automatically after the set number of hours.

Not Cooling a 190 sq ft Room

It does work! Cool air comes out the unit however the temperature didn't drop more than 6° overall. Outside 102°, garage wouldn't lower than 81° average with no AC is 86°. So what's the point??? I need it at a cool 78° with fan running too. Not sure if something is wrong. I gave two because if I'm in front of it, feels amazing!

OK but not spectacular

Love the features, including the temperature settings and its heating capabilities. However, despite the fact that the room is maybe 150 sq. ft., it doesn't seem to chill it as well as expected. My wife keeps it at 75 and it seems like it's constantly running, which surprises us. Still, better than a fan.
