You can raise the unit by placing it on a leveled surface of the unit fails to reach the desired height of the window. Great unit for the price

It shoots out cool air and is a little bit quieter than others. It’s still kinda loud, but not as bad as the others. It has an average swivel for left/right airflow range. The one thing I wished they did better was the window adapter, they give us theses crappy plastic pegs that suck.

While quieter than a window AC unit, my spouse says it still wakes her when the compressor comes on, so I precool the bedroom, then turn it off when she wants to sleep. Purchasers note: Honeywell designs but does not manufacture; still works fine.

Great value for the money

Only had the air conditioning unit for three weeks as of this review but it's performed as expected. We have a small house and bought this to cool our front room which is about 300 sq. ft. It does a pretty good job bringing the overall temperature down in these hot months. I would suggest buying a circulating fan to spread the cool air out, but it does work well without.

It easily and efficiently cools 1 bedroom and then we use two large fans to move the cool air into the hall, living room, and other areas of our duplex. It brings us relief from the extreme heat (and smokiness from fires). This is vital since I am a senior and a heart/coronary artery disease patient and my son has asthma (he is just recovering from surgery, too). Thanks Best Buy!
