The unit comfortably cools and dehumidifies a swampy basement apartment front room in the big city. It can't quite get the whole 10x25' space down to the 60s, but it certainly makes it more livable than the high 80s. Buyer beware, the vent tubing is NOT long enough to reach a higher than standard window. We needed to lift our unit onto some sturdy shelving to vent. This severely limits the "portability". Extension tubes void the factory warranty. It's been working almost non-stop for two *very* hot summer weeks. Overall a good buy, docked to 4 for the short tube and B+ cooling power for the dog days.

Keeps my room cool! It is a little loud if you're a light sleeper, but I love it.

Works as promised, we have it in our den and it’ll cool the whole area down in about 20-30 minutes (20x24). We have tile so we clean the filter about once every 5-7 days. Really cools down the area we’re in so it saves on electricity and isn’t a hassle to move to another room. Wish it had an extra extender for the window but other than that it’s perfect!

Works great, but when compared to a window AC this thing is expensive when ran every night. If you have a choice think twice, a window AC uses less energy. Great product though!

I had realistic expectations when I purchased this so it is doing what I wanted it to. I use it on the second story just to try and keep it a little cooler in the bedrooms. Prepare yourself for the electric bill though.

We put this AC upstairs where our room is more of a loft area than a fully closed bedroom. It is probably 350 sq ft. It kept it nice and cool. The unit doesn’t make much more noise than a big house fan. And the tube that goes out the window has a grate, so birds/critters can’t get in. Very nice looking unit and you can direct the air because the vent is manual.

I think the unit works very well and provides the level of cooling that was expected. The unit cools most of my upstairs space (900 sq ft). It obviously doesn’t cool to the degree that an A/C would but it is noticeably cooler inside my home. I was happy with my initial purchase and chose to buy a second unit of the same make/model for the downstairs.

Purchased this unit to replace a 15 y/o window unit, and it is working well. Setup was easy, although the window insert could be stronger, and seal better. I ended up purchasing some self stick foam insulation at my local hardware store and now the window unit seals well. The only other “feature I would like is for the unit to auto-shut down when it reaches temperature, the AC turns off but not the fan...so this runs all night for nothing (unless I wake up) We did purchased this for our bedroom, and with the fan on low, it isn’t too loud for sleeping. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

Bought this originally for my living room, which is maybe 200 sqft. Left it running for 2 hours and only went down 1 degree. Moved it to the bedroom instead, which is maybe 140 sqft and it works better. Need a small room for it to work properly.

Bought this unit because I have casement windows in my house. I used Styrofoam sheets and tape to route the nozzle out of the window. Temporarily this set up works. Hoping to fashion a polycarbonate cover for the window in the future to make this more efficient. Overall, this unit keeps my bedroom very cool and is not too loud. In my opinion, this was quieter and easier to set up than a Frigidaire model that we had tried.

I took a chance and went with this 10k btu unit to replace a 12k btu unit from a different manufacturer on it's last legs. I was hesitant at first, but ultimately I'm glad I chose this model. It's quieter and cools my room just as quickly and effectively as the previous more powerful model.

Actually cools the entire space, set up was easy, and start up was pretty much plug and play!

Our central air conditioner could not get our upstairs master bedroom cool unless we froze everyone on the main level. By adding this portable a/c, we can turn up our thermostat and everyone stays comfortable.

This unit does not disappoint in contrast to some reviews I've read. My expectations were not high for any portable air-conditioner, but I was pleasantly surprised when it kept the living room of my apartment (approximately 15'x20') consistently 3-5 degrees colder than the outside air temperature in the summer. I live in northwest Indiana. It's about as noisy as a window-installed unit. I've never had a problem with any water leaks.

Easy to set up, blows cool air quickly and quietly. Easy to unhook too.

This was a life saver a few weeks ago when our a/c went out on a Thursday and they would not be able to get to us till Tuesday to replace our unit that went out. We were able to cool our room and our bathroom no problem down to about 67 degrees and combined rooms are 350- 360 sq. ft. Have had our a/c fixed and still using in bedroom to make it colder at night.

I set this portable air conditioner up in my living room at 74 degrees. It has run continuously since July 25, 2020 without interruption. It reduced the room temperature in the large open space by more than 10 degrees in less than 24 hours. The 90 degree days in Maryland have aren’t a problem for this air conditioner. It is a winner!
