I bought this unit three days ago. It lists on the box good for up to 450 sq. ft. Long story short, don’t waste your time or money. Longer version, I installed correctly, ran for 18 hours straight, and the lowest it got was 75. It was on the setting of 61 the entire time. Yes it’s 85 outside right now, and the ac unit is hanging out around 77, which is better than it would be without it. But $450 for a unit that doesn’t actually do what it says it ought to be able to do? That seems... not quite fair. Now, granted, it supposedly works as a fan as well as a dehumidifier that shuts off when full time tell you when to empty it. I’m hesitant to try those features. I’m leaning more towards a return. I tried contacting Best Buy about this, and spent 40 minutes in chat with an agent who finally said, your problem would probably be best resolved by setting up an in store appointment, or you can call this number. Oh, and the next in-store appointment is two weeks out. I know Covid has the world gone mad, but... seriously. I called the phone number, and he said to check for leakage at the back, and try painter’s tape. I painters taped the heck out of the thing, and it’s still chillin—at 77 degrees, 30 minutes later. I double checked the settings. Yep. Still supposed to be at 61. Now the only question is: is it worth the hassle of bringing back to the store for a refund, or do I just bite the bullet and never buy a Honeywell again? Whichever I end up doing, don’t put yourself in this situation. Do I really want it to be 61 in here? Probably not for long. But would a nice 65-70 feel wonderful right now? Absolutely. You’re supposed to get what you pay for, and this is not that. If it were priced new in box around $300-350, I would consider that as fair. And that’s if the humidifier AND just plain fan actually work the way they are supposed to (repeat: with my experience on the ac side only, I am afraid to try, for fear of more bad news). $450?!?! No. But. 77 inside, 85 outside... it’s at least doing something. And installation was fairly easy (though the manual could have been more concise, repeating nearly an entire paragraph... yeah. I’m the person that read it), taking about 45 minutes, including the reading and re-skimming of the manual. Still. Go with someone else. Anyone else. Unless you can get it on sale. Then... don’t tell me. That would be mean.

Works really well.Is able to cool off my entire apartment in a reasonable amount of time.

It's good for small areas.thought it would be better for the 10,000 BTUs but it's OK it serves it's purpose

works well for over a year now. pretty large. doesn't cool the entire room completely and the hose must be connected to an outside window. and empty the water consistently

Bought this to cool finished third floor/guest room that is less than 450 sq. ft. Doesn’t keep the room cool in the middle of the day but does the job from bed time through the night to make it bearable for our guests to sleep. Probably should have gotten a stronger unit.

Purchased to cool down our master bedroom. It works very well and cools the room to a comfortable temperature. When the room reaches the desired temperature, the fan kicks on. It has been a great purchase for this last summer.

This is a pretty decent portable AC unit. I have heard that portable AC units in general are not as efficient or cool as well as the window units. But all of the windows in my master bedroom are horizontal sliders, so this was the best option. It is nice that it also has a dehumidifier and fan option.

I was able to price match it, good customer service. The air conditioner works well.

my roof holds heat in the home and is unbearable. The new honeywell air conditioner did the job. everyone was more relax instead of leaving the house.

Portable ac unit for My daughters college dorm room. She absolutely loves it. Some people had reviewed it and said it was noisy. There is some noise but I have to have to noise to sleep. Nothing more than a fan would be.

Did a decent job at cooling the area it was in. If you expect it to cool a whole house this is not for you.

wife felt it was a little noisy, but I am O.K. with decibel level. not any louder than a window unit.

Definitely great for mobile work when working from room to room with not central air. This item only needs to release hot air and you’ll be cool in no time

I needed to hook up some ac for camping. So I rigged my h1 hummer with the ac. Not only do I look cool with a h1 hummer I now am cool due to this ac.

This was a gift for my daughter as she lives on the top floor of her building and it gets very hot. She says it had the whole apartment cooled down in just a few hours. Now she is nice and comfortable at home.

Excellent product, it is good on my electric bill and it cools down a wide range in my home. I Would recommend buying one for your home if you were thinking about an air conditioner.

It's great for a small room especially since it's getting hot now remember get a trey to drain it
