Not Worth The Money

We placed it in the sunroom and it didn't get any cooler than 71 degrees. We ended up returning this product to Best Buy, with no hassle. We are now going to purchase a window unit.

Not sure if I got a defective model, will get a hold of Geek squad to get it checked.

Room environment conditions such as ceiling height, sunlight, number of windows/ doors and level of insulation can affect cooling efficiency and there are ways to increase the capacity of these units. There could be other reasons for the unit to not cool- temperature setting could be too high, the dust filter could be dirty, or the air outlet could be blocked.

It struggles to hit temps in the 70’s when it’s in the high 80’s / low 90’s outside. Then it will shutdown once it has collected enough water. Sweaty summer, should’ve invested in a double hosed unit with greater capacity.

Couldn’t keep it

I was looking forward to this unit but it just didn’t fit in any of my windows . The exhaust fitting for the window is adjustable and I tried it in three different sizes window and it wouldn’t work in either of them .

After 5 days, I feel like I can provide an honest review of the product. What I like about the AC is the easy set up! The unit does come with an installation kit and an easy to follow manual. My only issue with the installation is the length of the hose. I would of preferred it to be a little longer so that I can move it around. my apartment more (personal gripe). The AC cools off my apartment very well. You can adjust the temperature to your liking and it has a low and high level. I love the digital controls and my favorite feature is the timer on it. Before I leave for work, I turn on the timer and when I come home from my day the air is on and my apartment is cool. The noise level is pretty average. It doesn't bother me at all. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product. I highly recommend purchasing this unit.

Hot air ran from the back when we had the fan running. It was not safe and we returned it before we were able to use the air conditioner feature.
