We purchased this unit to cool a room when a central air system failed, and are very pleased with it. The room it is installed in, a 13’ X 26’ room over the garage closed off from the rest of the house, is comfortable with the temperature holding as it is set - it was well over 100 degrees before the unit was purchased. The central HVAC issue are taking more than two weeks to repair between scheduling and waiting on parts, so this was a valuable asset for us to have. It should be noted that this is the second of these units we purchased this summer, as the same thing happened to our son’s home and we assisted by buying the identical unit for him. In both cases the Honeywell was found to work very well and be reasonably quiet (for a room AC unit), keeping the rooms cool and the humidity low here in the heat of the North Carolina summer. While not the cheapest unit we looked at, this one has worked reliably and cooled the rooms well so that we can consider it a good value and heartily recommend the Honeywell to others.

Caved in and bought this during the last heatwave. Definitely kept us cool in our master bedroom. We would have bought a “cheaper” unit but we chose this for the sqft coverage and the reviews were good on most sites. It’s definitely not super quiet but it’s manageable. The ducts are pretty solid. Controls are simple to follow.

Used in a condo as supplemental cooling for a guest who likes it really cold at night. Replaced an older unit that was very difficult to drain dehumidifier water from. New unit cools better, is less noisy, and has no water drainage issues. Window fitting was very simple and easy. Works great,

made this quick purchase when my AC died. So far so good. It occasionally sounds like a bird is in the inside, but other than that the volume of noise to keep my livingroom cool is acceptable. Also, be sure to have an area to vent the heat out. We didn't do that in the beginning.

This device was added to our home during a longish heat streak. While it is designed to keep a room cool, we just wanted to keep the heat down. This is not a quiet device and the room we had it in has tall ceilings, so it struggles to keep the temperature down, but it did help to have the cool air moving around the room. The window adapter was not quite large enough to fit my window, so I had to add an extra bit (about 4") to the end to get it to fully cover the window opening. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Great AC unit. I put this in my bedroom during the heatwave and this helped cool down my whole room. This is a must have for any bedroom looking to cool down during the summer heat. Remote is great and convenient. You can control everything from your bed.

This really helped out my apartment a whole lot. My living rooms about 400sq. Keeped it real nice and cool. Only thing is that it's a little loud. I am still able to watch tv without problems.

The is a great little unit fits on the floor in the corner out of the way. It cools off the room with ease. I would recommend to anyone who needs relief from the heat and cant have a window unit.

The upstairs master bedroom has skylights and a wall of windows and does not cool down at all with central air on hot days. This works great and keeps the room nice and cool. It is loud though, like a loud stove exhaust fan. Some might like the noise, but not for everyone.

After fighting the heat with fans and buckets of ice for summers at a time, I finally decided to get a portable AC unit. This product has to be one of the best investments I've ever made. Cools my entire bedroom or living room, considering it's portable. It glides easily over my hardwood floors and leaves no marks. Very easy set up. I'm in love.

I installed this portable air conditioner on a 33 foot sailboat (so interior space of about 250 square feet). Vented it out a porthole, and it does a terrific job in the heat and humidity of this area. The vent hose/kit is well made, but at only 48 inch length I barely had enuf to reach the port. Shaped a piece of Lexan to customize the fit of the port. The unit works incredibly well and cools the interior of the boat down fast—-we are now able to get a comfortable and good night’s sleep. We probably bought too many BTU’s, but wanted to be sure the unit would cycle on and off normally instead of running constantly.

Doesn't take much space, nice timer feature, keeps room cool, and fits most rooms with big windows which was main reason I wanted it Easy to move and put away when warm weather season ends

I was lucky to find this air conditioner. I needed one last second to help beat the heat this summer, and I feel like I took home a real winner. It's low maintenance, was a fairly reasonable price for the quality, and turns my small apartment into an ice box!

Bought this for my bedroom (about 250sq ft) it works pretty well, the room will get cold in about 15 min. It's a bit noisy but not too bad to sleep with.

This was a gift to a family member. We have now used it for two summers. My family member has been very happy with it. Easier to move around then the old window air conditioner they used. Love having a remote to operate it.

No, seriously, it's cool...cold. You could set a drink in front of it and you wouldn't need ice cubes. It does what it's supposed to do and it does it well. All of these portable a/c units are loud, but this one's a little quieter than some of the older ones I have. The only con is that the hose is a bit shorter than my other portable a/c units. Some of those I can move about 3-feet from the window, but this one needs to be right next to it. I would definitely recommend. (I only gave "value" 3 out of 5, because I feel all a/c units are way overpriced...

Portable air conditioner works as hoped. I've only had it a couple of weeks but am please with how it cools my bedroom at night. It is quite loud but worth the noise.

I purchased this AC unit to cool down my living room, dining rm plus the kitchen and boy does it do its job. I was skeptical at first but I am so happy that I bought it. From the easy set up to the installation in the window everything went smoothly. So happy and everyone is amazed when they come over that it cools the way it does.

Works great to cool mother in law's bedroom. And if it's not too hot, it can be used just dehumidify the room . Easy to use controls and comes with remote. Also, hats off to Best Buy for super quick shipping. I choose the standard shipping and it arrived in two days !!!
