I also used in my master bedroom after the last hurricane and it also did a great job. It's very easy to move and also vent. No more hanging units out of the window for me.

My place is about 400 square feet and I have no problem cooling it down within 30 mins. The timer is a great feature to have so it can turn itself off. Unit is not hard to move with the casters. The unit itself is about 65lbs.

Carried this all the way upstairs myself and it was light, hardest part was taking it out the box and figuring how to put the thing on the window. But once I got it I said really, that’s all that it was.... just had to pull the long rectangle piece that goes on the window, pull it so it would become longer and put the screws in. And vuala just might need plastic or something to cover the tiny holes. But works very well. I use it in my bedroom. Leaves it cold, by 5am I turn it off bc it’s pretty cold

Condensation Catchment Reservoir is too small

Unfortunately, the reservoir for holding condensation is way too small and needs to be emptied frequently. I spoke with customer service and they said it was because of the humidity - Seattle is not humid compared with most of the US. Maybe if you live in the desert this won't be a problem, but I had to purchase a hose that fits into the reservoir drain so that the moisture can flow into a larger catchment area, which I still have to empty periodically throughout the day. This setup makes it so that I can run the AC continuously without having to unplug and disconnect the house to frequently drain the water. Fortunately, I don't have to run the AC at night, otherwise, the water might overflow the catchment. Next year I will probably buy a new AC and sell this one when the summer temps get hot.

( Its only me and my wife living there). It cools a 500squre foot room but obviously nothing bigger. It's good for small rooms. It not for a living room. It still works great. Dont buy to cool anything bigger than a 500 square foot room.

Not awful to hookup but the window venting has some limitations. Cools a 400 square foot room with pretty high ceilings to the low 70‘s so clearly better than nothing when it is 90+ outside. It is on the louder side, but what I expected.

Went from very hot in the room to needing to crawl under the covers! Although not exactly quiet, it's not so loud as to keep you awake, unless your a very light sleeper.
