This portable air conditioner takes a bit to cool if it's a really hot, humid day (over 90 degrees), so remember to turn it on about 15 minutes before you want to use the room it's in. In less than 90 degree weather, it cools quicker. The room we use it in is 17x17. It does cool the room. It's not as loud as our prior unit and is easy to set up. If we need another portable air conditioner, we would certainly look for another Honeywell.

I got this unit to help cool an old farm house. The price was great (Best Buy did a price match, so I got the best possible price. Well made unit and it take just a couple of minutes to install.

Worked great, could be quieter but not bothersome, cooled a large area.

Easy simple instructions. Control display panel and remote control easy to use. Setting up portable ac is simple...attachment pieces including window kit is simple to set up...works great

Our house has no ac, so we needed something to cool our bedroom. The way our room is swt up, a window unit was not an option, so we started looking into portable air conditioners. After reading a bunch of reviews (and this was available for same day pickup) we went with this product. So far we are very happy with it. It was super easy to install (took less than 10 minutes). It also has very good cooling capability for our bedroom. It can cool about 5 degrees in an hour and gets our room down to 67 at night. Noise isn’t bad, as it is constant and the low fan setting works well for sleeping. Only complaint is that it is quite large so takes up a decent amount of space.

Excellent, works great in my bedroom. A bit noisy, but not a big deal. Much better than my previous one that collected a lot of water and needed draining constantly.

I really like this portable ac. It cools off the bedroom nicely. There is a little bit of noise. But it doesn't matter.

This is being used in an apartment in a very old building so the insulation isn't the best. It does a pretty good job cooling the bedroom, but can't handle anything more. The bedroom is definitely not 450 sq ft so not sure if its the unit or because of the room being in an old building. We're glad to have it but thought it would cool both the bedroom and the living area so we were a little disappointed.

Purchased this unit when our 25 year old whole house AC unit pittered out this summer (July). With COVID-19 work from home protocols, the August afternoons were getting and staying in the uncomfortable zone, and my in-home office was more a sauna than an office. The unit was easy to assemble (truly just the exhaust hose and window bracket). Unit worked well to cool a 20X20 square foot in-house office with french doors that have a 1-foot gap above them to the rest of the house from 86 degree F to 74 degrees F within about 15-20 minutes, and kept it at 74 degrees F without excessive cycling. The only reason this units gets 4 stars instead of 5: the window bracket that comes with this unit is only 48 inches long (fully extended) -- I had to add about a foot of cardboard filler so as to seal my 58" windows -- the unit marketing and directions indicate the windows bracket is adjustable to fit your window or balcony door -- I have never seen a 48 inch balcony door opening (except for a doll house).

Purchased this AC about a month and a half ago. Great investment for this very hot summer! After 15-20 minutes it cools down the room and works great. If you are looking for something that is affordable, I recommend this product to anyone. (Also keep in mind you must attach tube to the window) Only con is that since I live in an apartment complex, the AC may not always be as effective during the day since lack of power when everyone is using the electricity.

This air conditioner keeping it cool during this hot weather and can be moved to another room if needed.

I love this ac it cools a large bedroom very easily and is very easy to drain and clean the filters. I recommend it for bedrooms or medium size living rooms and dens.
