It keeps my upstairs condo very cool all night and help me and my sheltie sleep. My sheltie will go into the bedroom upstairs where the air conditioner is and choose to sleep in there.

It was great but too large and heavy. Couldn’t carry it myself

We were unexpectedly pleased with the cool air from this small portable AC. It included all the parts to seal the vent out the window. Also BB honored another company’s discount price saving us about $80

Used in my bedroom, this airconditioner produces cool air immediately. Vented through a sliding glass door through a 1/8 in thick piece of clear lucite, cut to fit the hose and the door length. I find it as quiet as a fan. Quick cooling.

My main concern was noise, and this unit is fairly quiet. Much quieter than a mid-priced window unit. Cooling power is good, I am using it to supplement central air in a second floor bedroom. It comes with all you need, I did get some foam strip for the window vent, and drill some holes to keep the sliding vent peice properly adjusted. If you want something very quiet and the unit will be close to where you are sleeping this one may not be for you.

Bought this to cool finished third floor/guest room that is less than 450 sq. ft. Doesn’t keep the room cool in the middle of the day but does the job from bed time through the night to make it bearable for our guests to sleep. Probably should have gotten a stronger unit.

Overall good but its loud when AC is on but other than that keep us cooler.

We bought this for my sons room, and it works well for a small room (12x12) not sure how it would do for larger.

I purchased this cause my living room would not get cool enough with my house AC. It works perfectly and when left on overnight it cools the whole living room and even into my kitchen and back room. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I bought this a/c for my living room. I’m not sure if it’s because the sun beats into the living room glass door or because it’s a larger room but I wish it could get a little colder. The a/c doesn’t usually read that it’s below 76°. I keep my bedroom at 60°. Not bad however, it still keeps it much more comfortable than without a/c.

Have no issues with this product. Has been very handy when cooling down the room before going to bed. I just recently purchased it and am already getting my moneys worth in this heat.

works well for over a year now. pretty large. doesn't cool the entire room completely and the hose must be connected to an outside window. and empty the water consistently

I bought this ac as an emergency for the summer awful heat and it was the best choice ever it cools down the whole room fresh all day and night.. best AC EVER!!!

The unit cools well and is fairly quiet. A bit expensive but worth it, so far.

I bought this unit three days ago. It lists on the box good for up to 450 sq. ft. Long story short, don’t waste your time or money. Longer version, I installed correctly, ran for 18 hours straight, and the lowest it got was 75. It was on the setting of 61 the entire time. Yes it’s 85 outside right now, and the ac unit is hanging out around 77, which is better than it would be without it. But $450 for a unit that doesn’t actually do what it says it ought to be able to do? That seems... not quite fair. Now, granted, it supposedly works as a fan as well as a dehumidifier that shuts off when full time tell you when to empty it. I’m hesitant to try those features. I’m leaning more towards a return. I tried contacting Best Buy about this, and spent 40 minutes in chat with an agent who finally said, your problem would probably be best resolved by setting up an in store appointment, or you can call this number. Oh, and the next in-store appointment is two weeks out. I know Covid has the world gone mad, but... seriously. I called the phone number, and he said to check for leakage at the back, and try painter’s tape. I painters taped the heck out of the thing, and it’s still chillin—at 77 degrees, 30 minutes later. I double checked the settings. Yep. Still supposed to be at 61. Now the only question is: is it worth the hassle of bringing back to the store for a refund, or do I just bite the bullet and never buy a Honeywell again? Whichever I end up doing, don’t put yourself in this situation. Do I really want it to be 61 in here? Probably not for long. But would a nice 65-70 feel wonderful right now? Absolutely. You’re supposed to get what you pay for, and this is not that. If it were priced new in box around $300-350, I would consider that as fair. And that’s if the humidifier AND just plain fan actually work the way they are supposed to (repeat: with my experience on the ac side only, I am afraid to try, for fear of more bad news). $450?!?! No. But. 77 inside, 85 outside... it’s at least doing something. And installation was fairly easy (though the manual could have been more concise, repeating nearly an entire paragraph... yeah. I’m the person that read it), taking about 45 minutes, including the reading and re-skimming of the manual. Still. Go with someone else. Anyone else. Unless you can get it on sale. Then... don’t tell me. That would be mean.

Nice AC unit. Works as described but took about 18 hours to cool off our home.

So far it is working well. Stays in Living Room. A little loud.

Overall is ok, doesn’t get room real cold just takes the edge off but it was a real heat wave where the temperature was almost 100 degrees in the dorms and this unit would only get the room to 80 degrees, this unit was rated for up to 400 square feet and the room was about 350 square feet. I am sure unit would work better if room was smaller

Works really well.Is able to cool off my entire apartment in a reasonable amount of time.
