It works very well and cools the room to a comfortable temperature. When the room reaches the desired temperature, the fan kicks on. It has been a great purchase for this last summer.

I have heard that portable AC units in general are not as efficient or cool as well as the window units. But all of the windows in my master bedroom are horizontal sliders, so this was the best option. It is nice that it also has a dehumidifier and fan option.

Some people had reviewed it and said it was noisy. There is some noise but I have to have to noise to sleep. Nothing more than a fan would be.
