However the very next day (maybe after it had a chance to settle after being shipped) it cooled my living room which faces the sun nicely. I had kept the box because I was ready to return it the same day I got it. I kept it an extra week just in case. I'm happy to report i still have it running and it's fine.

It does not cool that much on the living room. Other than that, it’s ok. I do think it’s a little pricey and there are cheaper ones that would probably work the same or better.

So, I went to Best Buy to get a portable AC. This was the unit they had in stock. It was big enough to handle the room, so, I bought it. I got it out of the car and unpacked- you need two people for this- I did it myself. ( That’s how I know it takes two!) The exhaust hose in the window and the plug in the wall, I turned the unit on. We’ve been comfortable and cool since. I’d give a five star rating if the air conditioner had one higher fan speed and oscillating louvers to really spread the cooled air. We’re all cool cats now!

I bought this one and it works great...I rarely have to run it above low to cool my whole apartment. I can program it to turn on mid afternoon when it starts to heat up and my dogs can be kept cool along with the apartment being cool when I get home from work!!! LOVE IT.....It's much quieter than a standard window air too!!!

Quiet with lots of cold air

The newest one is requiring water to be drained in a matter of 5 days while the other 3 have never required water draining. Also has a sour smell. If I return, it will be the 2nd time. First one had a noisy fan.
