Moved it to bedroom and it never got lower then 80, only cooled down when the temperature outside dropped.

We ran it 24 hours a day in a smaller sq ft area then the box said it could do - and honestly it kept the room cooler but not what we expected. Definitely a disappointment for the money.

It doesn't provide an option to use for single window frames, only double. Other than that I'm not really sure how it fairs since I didn't try it.

Not worth the price what it is rated or advertised to do.

The doorways arent huge but the reality is that this AC doesn't work for poo. It really is only for small rooms with closed areas and even then the water stays inside the system and it requires a really shallow and short like pan to empty it out (which is difficult when full since it takes like 90 trips back and forth to dispose of water).

I thought Honeywell was a respectable quality brand. These are poorly made. My second unit I purchased froze up and stopped working after only three months. These area waste of money. Probably better to go with a less expensive brand so you won't lose as much. BTW, freezing up with a large block block of ice on the coils are apparently a pretty common issue with these units.

It only dropped the temp 5 degrees and only within 3 feet of the unit. 10 feet away, on my couch, the temp didn't change at all even after running it for several hours. For $600 dollars I expected this to work better than a box fan. It doesn't. Also, the window kit is falsely advertised to fit windows between 26.6 and 49. NOT TRUE unless you cut it with a hacksaw which I assume would void the warranty.. My window is 31 inches and it covers the exhaust hole.

Posted .Apologies on any difficulties you faced with this unit. Our portable air conditioners work best in well insulated, enclosed spaces. Also, room environment conditions such as ceiling height, sunlight, number of windows/ doors and level of insulation can affect cooling efficiency.
The window venting kit that comes with this unit measures 26.6 inches. It is then extendable from 36.2 to 52 inches. The bracket can be cut to fit the size of your window, simply by taking it to a hardware store. In dry mode (in Hawaii), the reservoir would fill in 4-5 hours and shut off. If you wanted to have this run all night you'd have to have a hose to a 5+ gallon bucket and hope it doesn't fill.
