Highly recommend! Easy to set up and pretty quiet!

It's been a month since my purchase of this portable air conditioner and surprise how cold the air is. So I'm satisfied with this purchase.

The a/c unit is a great value. Easy to put together and cools well

Very fast cooling. Energy efficient. Electric bill goes up only around 30-40 bucks a month and I have it running almost every day. Gets down to around 65 degrees no problem. Normally set it at 68. I have had other portable ac unit and none compare to this one.

Multiple settings. Easy installation and cools off living area quickly

Its like any other wall A/C makes about the same amount of noise overall it works good it cools my bed room and keeps the room cold.

This portable air conditioner works great. I live in an area that usually doesn't need a/c. This air conditioner cools down the house on those days that get overly hot.

This unit does a fantastic job of cooling down my space. The downside of it is that it doesn't seem to accurately read the temperature of the room, so it doesn't turn itself off when it should. I think the problem may be that the temperature gauge is too close to the heat outlet area.

Overall a good window ac unit! Cools my bedroom very well! Better than most ac units.

I bought this portable air conditioner immediately after my portable of 11 years was fried by a power surge following a brown out. No hesitation about the purchase...same manufacturer, same BTUs. It's been running non-stop for two weeks. I am very pleased and highly recommend Honeywell portables.

Easy to set up and use. Window mount hose kit is real good and simple to install. You can have this unit operating in about 15 minutes. Easy to operate and remote is fantastic.

A/C works great as long as you are realistic about the space you are trying to cool. So many factors play into how well your home will cool down from one source. Wish Inwould have gotten the 14,000btu version for a bit more but the 12,000btu is no slouch. It would be better to have too much cooling power and bring down the fan speed than have too little and have it run non-stop. As commenters have said in previous posts, constructing the hose is not the easiest but more specifically the plastic "nozzle" that attaches to the window piece is the main culprit of frustration. If you use a small blunt object to help snap the two sides together it's not too bad. Just be aware the little plastic posts are easy to break off with improper force.

It's been screaming hot and humid in upstate NY - high 80's with 90% humidity makes you want to jump out the window. Fortunately, this AC unit does a nice job of cooling the upstairs of the house. It's relatively quiet and the remote is helpful for the elderly inlaws.

For sure this will do 450 sq ft even more if you place it on a window with shade. It will take a few minutes to cool a room that’s hot but it does it fairly quickly and you’ll notice the difference

Was in a pinch and needed an AC while the main house unit went down. Didn’t want to put in a window unit since it would be seen from the Main Street so I purchased this unit. Excellent cooling and dehumidifier! I was technically cooler a larger space than what it’s rated for with no issues.

Keeps a small room cool , has a valve on the bottom that needs to be checked often and drained. Unit stops when full of water.

So glad I didn’t purchase a window unit for my room that only has horizontal sliding windows. While it is large and bulky in its appearance, it is reasonably quiet and oh so effective. Can easily be taken down after the three months of the year when it is needed.

While our unit is located in the living room, the adjoining three bedrooms and the kitchen dining room are also cooled enough to weather the over ninety degree days we’ve had. Such a great purchase to help us delay getting a central air unit.
