Excellent, quiet fan with an oscillating function and remote control that works flawlessly

I bought this fan to place near my treamill, which has an extremely weak built in fan. This fan is really nice and it is the quietist fan I have ever heard. So far I am very pleased with it. It is still brand new, so the question I cannot answer yet is if will prove to durable after a lot of use. It does seem sturdy and was easy to assemble.

I had this fan at one point until one of the blades broke. It was quiet and I love it. So I had to purchase it again. No complaints on this end

This is a great quiet fan. Has a timer which is very helpful so you don’t leave the fan on all night when you leave the room. Very happy with sound level

I just don't understand any of the negative reviews saying the fan doesn't move enough air. It's not be sold / advertised as a "power fan", but rather as an ultra quiet fan... and that's exactly what it is! For scenarios where quiet operation are essential (bedrooms, living rooms while watching a movie, etc), this fan fits the bill wonderfully. On the lowest setting, it's literally silent. Almost eerily silent! Even on the highest setting - it's a very mild hum... nothing loud or obnoxious. In terms of air being moved - I find it to move plenty on the highest setting for our needs (bedroom), but our Lasko fan definitely moves more. That Lasko fan is significantly louder however... even at it's lowest setting its louder than this Honeywell at its highest. The pedestal on this fan is also something to note... it's quite a bit smaller and heavier than competing brands (like my Lakso). This lends to a much more "planted" feeling and less likely to tip over (important when young kids are involved). Overall - I HIGHLY recommend this fan. If you need a "power fan" - buy a power fan... if you need a standard fan to provide circulation without raising the noise level - this fan is 100% for you!

Fan cools off room very nicely and love the pedestal. Very sturdy. High quality and worth what I paid.

The fan is very quiet; and puts out plenty of wind power to cool you off. It is well designed!

It is perfect if you want a quiet fan! I love all of the settings and how high it sits.

Took me roughly 1 hour to put it together, this essentially doubles the price of this fan. A device like this ought to have a simple 3 step assembly, but they somehow made it way more complicated and un-intuitive. The fan is good, not very powerful, but definitely quiet. The remote is an old fashioned IR blaster, but works well. Wish it did not use AAA batteries.

This fan is as advertised, efficient and quiet. We have three of these fans because we like them so much. They are very easy to assemble. My only complaint is that Honeywell moved away from the rectangular remote to a circular one. The circular one is hard to use in the middle of the night.

I have 3 of these fans and they are great...very quiet...don’t even use AC as much. U won’t regret buying.

Had it just over a year and a blade completely broke. I was asleep and the racket woke me up. I have no idea how it happened.

I bought 2 of these fans 2 years ago and they still work just like new. They both have a small replaceable fuse in the plug. I have them both plugged into surge protectors strips with a reset button for extra protection. The blade comes off very easy for cleaning.

So far it works excellently. It it very quiet, and seems sturdy enough for the price. We have owned it only a few weeks.

This is a great fan it will definitely serve its purpose during the months when needed. Just be aware that it makes tolerable noise and is meant to stay put unless your into lifting slightly heavy fans..

Very quiet. Good for sleep time. One cons is it is quite heavy. Other than that, I do satisfy with this fan.

This really is a nice and quiet fan in terms of the air output and noise level for as long as it works. However, the reliability is terrible. I bough two of these from two different sources and both died within a few months to a year. Works only for one season. Symptoms - would start slowly after a while, run with some coaxing with a pencil for a while more and then die. Can’t believe it is the motor, no smell. I’d suspect poor quality capacitor/condenser, which is a couple of bucks at the most. A part this cheap seems to be holding the fan that’s more than 20x the cost hostage. Honeywell would do well to run some real longevity tests on these fans before selling. Not looking to buy more Honeywell fans.

Very quiet yet powerful. Great design definitely has a quality feel to it.
