So far so good

So far so good, package came in HOT and was pretty beaten up, but as far as I know everything is working. Other reviews said the air quality sensor on AUTO doesn’t seem to actually work, mostly turning red even if it was just on and showing green. I plugged mine in started it and it showed green from the start, in a house that’s old AF, with three big dogs, how it turned green on startup is surprising to me. Only thing that sucks is trying to buy filters, you can’t find the pre filters (A) and HEPA (R) filters with any of the S filters together at all. You can find the year filter packages (A and R) but then have to go somewhere else to find the S filters, even online you have to piece it together and it’s absolutely absurd in this day and age how many brick and mortar stores and even more online stores but NO ONE sells them together. I can understand these pop up companies with air purifiers, but Honeywell has been around for a long time, and to be this unorganized when it comes to stocking your products in stores is just so unprofessional for a company that’s been around this long.

Love this purifier and the auto function. I have witnessed the purifier running on auto and showing green for air quality then after cleaning the house and stiffening the tile floors I could gear the fan increase. I looked at the display and it had changed to red as the fan speed increased. It ran on auto and after maybe 15 minutes or half hour it changed back to green. It comes with a prefilter and 3 hepa filters that are easy to install and have tabs to use to remove the filters for replacement. I bought the optional kitchen carbon filters and they just popped right in behind the prefilter. They also had removal tabs. I have also used the turbo feature when I had high kitchen smoke or odors. The unit is excellent and use 24 7 on auto. Very easy to use and love auto feature. Highly recommended unit!

Very satisfied. I bought this unit during covid-19 pandemic to use in my classroom. We have had no outbreaks and no cases of Covid-19 linked to my class. You can really tell the difference in air quality. Love the settings, lights, options. Durable. Not too loud. Good for larger rooms.

This performs great. The machine really does pick up on them odors such as pet poo, cigarette smoke and you can actually see the color change from good to bad when these odors are detected which is great. I am also noticing the fresh odor when entering my room and how clean it smells. The only downside for me is that it didn't come with a remote control which would of been excellent to have. Overall I am very pleased with this item just knowing that I am breathing clean air.

I am absolutely amazed as to how sensitive this Honeywell Air Purifier is. It is so quiet I had to call tech support to ensure it was operating properly. When it senses a decrease in the quality of the air
It immediately increases the fan speed to increase the amount of air being processed and the sensor light turns red until the impurities are cleared. I was concerned about the capacity of this unit due to the 11 ft ceilings but so far we are quite impressed. My wife has asthma and this Honeywell has improved her breathing. Overall I would have to say this was money well spent!

I'm very happy with this air purifier, as my old, Holmes air purifier finally bit the dust (pun intended) after working for over 12 years. I am hoping this Honeywell model will also last a long time. One thing I like about this vs. the smaller, Holmes purifier is that this unit has a very large HEPA filter which does not need replacing very often (1 year life span). Yes, new filters are not inexpensive, but not having to replace it every 3 months helps to make up for that. This unit also has a nice, large charcoal pre-filter, which I remove every couple of week and vacuum to remove the dust and the cat hair. Over the years I found using a good hand vacuum is the easiest way to regularly clean the charcoal filters. It is less messy than rinsing it in the bathtub and you don't have to worry about drying a damp filter. One thing to note before buying, this unit is large. It is going to be noticeable in most rooms it is in. I don't mind at all that the unit does not have a remote, as a remote seems a little silly for settings that I don't change frequently. I would definitely recommend this air filter for larger spaces.

The Honeywell Insight Air Purifier does an excellent job cleaning the air in our bedroom. My wife has allergies that have caused her to wake numerous times during the night. Since we purchased the Air Purifier, she has enjoyed much better sleep. We set it on the lowest setting at night and it is virtually soundless at that setting. We vacuum the pre-filter about once every 10 days and find an amazing amount of dust trapped there that would otherwise be loose in the air in the room. The unit is an excellent product, we are completely satisfied with it and its performance !

Upgraded from a desktop purifier to keep my studio apt dust and smoke free. Forest fire season has come and gone, and this thing kept things breathable. I terrible at dusting also, so this picks up the slack. Name-brand eplacement filters can be pricey, but Amazon has some generic options that are more affordable. I got this when it was on sale, so I'm happy.

I looked at Consumer Reports to find an air purifier. None of the top 10 were available anywhere due to the California wildfires. Online searching led me to this air purifier. It was available at Best Buy, and I took the plunge. This is a very quiet unit. In fact, the "white noise" helps me sleep at night. The air in my bedroom is noticeably cleaner. I breathe easier at night and experience less nasal congestion. The cost of replacement filters is in line with the other air purifiers listed in Consumer reports. I am happy with my purchase.

was a Christmas Eve purchase as we were having 2 other folks over....
works quite well to remove cooking smells. it's also reduced the dust level in our room. it says good for 500 sq ft but i question that. maybe 350-400 tops as the actual performance can be less. plus to be effective they really need to be elevated 3-4 ft off floor. for what it is it's fine, and consumer reports rate the Honeywell brand pretty high, but of course. or as good as a professional, commercial air filter. be prepared to pay big $$ for the HEPA filter replacements...
surprisingly the large black color blends in with rest of room...also key is placement in room. read the directions...corner is a no no...placement is very important to determine how well this will sucks in air...

Have had a Honeywell HEPA purifier for 20 years. My old version sounds like a jet engine, so this version is so much quieter. A little sleeker than my big old round version, so allows for room to walk around. Purchased a couple extra filters to make this machine last hopefully many years as well.

Works great! Picked it up when it was on sale as a “deal of the day.” The unit is extremely quiet and automatically adjusts its power based on current air quality. I let it run 24/7 and can really tell a difference in the quality of my air, but still never notice it in the background.

I recently purchased the Honeywell InSight HEPA Air Purifier, and after using it for a month, I'm genuinely impressed. The product effectively eliminates cooking odors, noticeably improving the overall air quality. This air purifier has made my living space much more pleasant and comfortable, and I'm highly satisfied with its performance.
One aspect I wish it had, though, is integration with smart devices. It would have been great to remotely control and monitor the purifier using a smartphone or other smart home devices.
If you want to enhance the air quality in the house, I recommend trying this product.
