I have been running this air cleaner constantly for the past year. It is set on auto and it is doing a great job. It speeds up when it detects any smell or dust, or anything out of ordinary, including perfumes! It is designed for. 500 sqft area but I use it in a smaller space because I have lung and breathing issues. I am very happy with it.

Does an adequate job filtering the air. Multiple speeds, relatively quiet. Easy to use.

It works as intended. I like the light display and you can also turn it off. I also purchase the extra filters to help with animal smells. But a bit pricy ($60 for 3). But even without it works good. This year the allergens were bad, so bought to help the air quality.

Works great, bigger than we thought, very quiet but very effective at capturing all the dust. Filters easy to remove and clean. Great for a household with 3 hairy dogs.

Very quiet in normal modes but in turbo it’s about as loud as a regular fan. I shined a laser near the intake and can see dust particles being sucked in while the output is almost clear. The light changes from red to yellow to green to indicate how much pollutants are in the air. I plan on purchasing more of these as I can afford them.

I'm really loving this air purifier. It's efficient, and I'm sleeping better. The light dimming feature is fantastic. Such a small detail, but something I wish more things had. It does seem a little louder at times, but not ridiculous. Mostly loud on the turbo mode, which I would sort of expect anyway, like a big fan. Bottom line, I've had it almost a month, and I'm really glad I bought it.

I can see this is a very powerful air purifier. Good for large rooms and the sensor is pretty good. But it doesn’t help with odors in the house. Apparently I have to buy an S filter for that which is not available anywhere! Also, too many filters that I have to replace! If ur willing to deal with the negatives then u might like it. Also, this thing is big and bulky.

Works very well, very quiet, really easy to use. Great for a bedroom.

Eventough our air quality was not bad (green light), my wife nose allergies were gone in two days. Note that odor filters (3) have to be purchased separately.

Thing works great. We have an old man kitty that needs a litter bin where stairs aren't a factor. The purifier really helps with the dust caused by the litter we use, and the odor. It also turns red if you toot into it.

I like this air purifier a lot. It is easy on the eye and it seems to work well at ridding the air of unwanted particles. The only reason that I don't give it 5 stars is that the replacement filters are, to me, expensive, and I did not take that into consideration when purchasing the purifier. I do not see why the filters need to be so costly except for the fact that once the purifier is bought, the customer is stuck with purchasing the new filters, no matter the cost.

This air purifier has been an absolute game-changer! I’m allergic to dogs, even though I’ve had them all my life. When I finally got this air purifier, I noticed my sneezing went from a few times a day to *maybe* a few times a month. And changing out the filters is really easy, just taking me about 5 minutes. (Let’s be real, most of the time is unwrapping the clean filters from the plastic wrap. Ha!)

During the heavy smoke that came down from Canada into the DMV area, this Air Purifier was wonderful. I have really bad asthma so I needed something that would keep our main living space clean and safe. This did a great job of that and I had no breathing problems the entire time. It also has 3 timer settings which is great for nighttime setting. Oh and the turbo function is great to have. You don't really need it for everyday use but the initial cleaning stage and for when you need your space cleansed quickly, it is great. Highly recommend this product.

The ordering was easy and delivery prompt. The HPA5300b seems well-designed and is easy to use. After one moth, it works well and is amazingly quiet, except at the highest (Turbo) setting which I have yet had to use.

The Honeywell Insight 500 Sq. Ft. HEPA Air Purifier works pretty well, the draw backs however are it is not energy rated, the filters are expensive and even after calling the company itself, left things confusing because you have to buy special extra filters for smoke odors, kitchen odors or pet odors, it lists them as hepa filters when you look them up and say they only last up to 3 months yet the company says the hepa should last a year. Another annoying problem is when you go to purchase the regular hepa filters you only get 2 in the box and this unit takes 3 so you have to spend over 100.00 and get 2 boxes just to have 3 hepas. The pre filters come folded in a box and you have to cut them to size, they are thinner than the one that comes with the unit and they are flimsy

This is a quiet unit. The rooms that the unit services are almost dust-free. I have had several Honeywell units over the years. I like them because you can find the filters for them years later. I have had others and can never find filters down the road. Operation is easy as well.

The air began to feel cleaner and smell better within a few hours after setting the machine up. Honeywell always makes dependable machines.
