I bought this heater for my mom because she said her room is always cold in the winter.This heater has helped keep her room nice and toasty warm. I have always been cautious of buying portable heaters because of all the horror stories you hear about them starting fires. But they have gotten a lot more safe then they used to be. It has a switch on the bottom that if the unit just tips a little off center it shuts the heater off instantly.

I use it for my room, which is small and this product works really well for New York winter. Temperature control for this price is a plus point. You can hardly get anything with accurate measure of temperature. It turns off automatically when temperature reaches the set limit. Also with timer option I no longer need to wake up in night to turn off when I don’t need.

This is a 1500 watt (on high..which you may always need to have on high) unit that will warm up 100sq feet. So, that's a small bed room. On high the unit is pretty loud for my liking. Heats up fast and oscillates. Would have been nice to have a remote. There's better heaters out there I'm sure.

I love a heater that you can set a temperature and it will turn itself off. That way you don't get too hot during the night. This is an excellent one and it works great.

For starters, it works well as a heater. Gets nice and hot and isn't very loud. The problem is with the way it operates when you set a specific temperature. It will heat up to that temperature then just shut off. You can set the timer to keep it on, but the max is 8 hours so it doesn't work well if you want to use it to warm a room overnight.

bought it for small bathroom off our hall. grand-kids left heater, lights, and vent going after toilet use; so i got switch guards and have separated the heater and vent from their littler fingers. I now have heat for the room, only when we want it on. Really good for small bath ....6-ft by 9-ft.

We bought this to go in our daughter's room for bedtime, as her room tends to be the coldest in the house. She started sleeping SO much better. I love that it has a temperature gauge on it, so when the room hits the temperature put in, it will shut off. I also love that it has a timer on it, and will cut off after the number of hours you specify (only 1, 2, 4 and 8 available)
