It makes a strong plastic smell even after breaking it in. It doesn't restart automatically after the safety switch is triggered, unlike most analog heaters, which is inconvenient when you plan on moving it frequently

Pros: heats fast, cool to touch, safety feature is a huge plus, oscillating feature helps cover room entirely! Cons: overheats easily and temperature control supremely unreliable and VERY NOISY!! Omg, you can’t watch tv with that thing on.

This heater can pump out an impressive amount of hot air, which is all you need in some situations. But, if you want to use the thermostat to hold a steady temperature, you should expect the temperature to go up and down quite a lot.

The front office in a building where people meet and greet is sometimes like a wind tunnel with the opening and closing of doors. This compact ceramic heater does the trick. Not a fire hazard, does not flip breakers or smell "funny"... fits neatly out of sight and keeps the "toes warm" as people would say! Give it a try cause it is priced right as well...great value!

We bought this for our baby room. It worked fine as a heater but it stunk up the whole room. We tried it a couple days but it didn't stop smelling, so we returned it and bought an electric heater.

heats a medium-sized room effectively; not energy efficient

Perfect for a small bedroom that gets less heat. The timer function was critical since it's in a bedroom and gets turned on at night. Knowing that it will shut off even when asleep is important. Easily heats 200 sq/ft in about 15-20 minutes.

Safety features are great. It shuts off if tipped.
