Does Not Hold a Set Temperature

It heats up an average-sized bedroom pretty quickly. However, if you set a specific temperature, it will not turn on and off automatically to hold the temperature. Once it reaches the goal temp, the heater stops, and that temperature displays. However, when it gets colder, it does not turn back on automatically. I knew this because I powered it off and then on, and the current room temp displays as different from the temp before shut off. This was very disappointing. Positives - It heats up a room pretty quickly. It also has a very user-friendly back panel to clean the filter.
