I just love this machine. My husband snores and it helps him breathe and the snoring has stopped. I also have sinus problems, and I used to wake up with a headache. Since I have been using the Hepa, I no longer have headaches in the morning.

Works as advertised. Bought this on sale on line and it is a good value for the money.

I got a good price. It was promptly shipped. It was easy to set up.

I shopped around and compared many different air purifiers. With an apartment of two long-haired cats and a dog, I needed a good and reliable one. This one seems to be doing the trick in a very reliable fashion. While I have only had it for two weeks, there have been noticeable changes in air quality. When walking into the apartment, there used to be a distinct "inside house" scent; however, now you are greeted by a neutral, fresh smell. Additionally, my allergy symptoms have subsided and breathing is much easier. While it might be a change in weather, I would like to think that this is due to the purifier cutting out the pet dander and other air contaminants. The low and medium modes on the model are rather quite. On low, you hardly notice it unless you are sitting there trying to listen. Medium has a little more hum, but it is not distracting when watching TV or listening to radio. High mode is much louder (it is high after all), but we only turn this on when we are gone or asleep. Two main things to consider that might be drawbacks. First, the tower model stands pretty tall--its height is about the same as our couches. Second, the manual recommends setting the unit at least 3 feet from the wall, furniture, or other obstructions (it needs open air behind it for the intake). This results in having to place the unit in a sort of "stand out" fashion, where it is rather easy to spot. While the unit is ascetically pleasing, it still says "Hey, look at me, I am an air purifier." But I think this last complaint is going to be had with any air purifier. Overall, is a great product and has a reasonable price tag attached (I would say that it is priced in the middle market).

This is a very good air cleaner. It is especially quiet and it can be used while sleeping without disturbance. Air is clean and fresh in the morning. It's perfect for my allergies and has helped greatly in even the short time I've used it. I already can feel relief to my symptoms. However, since I have to move it into the bedroom for the nighttime and back to the living area during the day the back falls off. It seems to be on securely but for some reason or another it comes off. I've taped it since having to open it for cleaning would be so minimal. It is as inconspicuous as can possibly be being a tower, but the design is pleasing. I would recommend this unit to anyone who asks me as a matter of fact I've already recommended it to people who can benefit from it.

April 2013~We love these so much we bought 3! We bought one approx. 2 years ago and the other two we bought a year ago. At first we had one in my sons' bedroom because he has bad allergies and has mild asthma. It soothed his coughs at night so well, he barely uses his inhalers now. We have a pellet stove and a wood stove, so we decided to buy 2 more to help trap the dust and ash in the air. They work soooo well! We keep them on low 24 hours a day. The filters can be vacuumed and rinsed which adds up to a huge savings since we don't have to buy replacement filters. You will be shocked at how much dust these trap! Especially if you run wood and pellet stoves like we do! The tower doesn't take up a ton of room. It's about the same noise level as a floor fan but without the frame vibrations. It's soothing at night. We are very pleased with these and will definitely buy more of the same if they ever stop working :)

I have this in the bedroom and I really noticed a difference; the air even smells cleaner. However, it is quite noisy...most people may find themselves unable to sleep while the fan is on High but I find this "white noise" to be soothing. I am a bit concerned about what the cost to run it is. I run it at least 12 hours a day and when I received an electric bill, $40 higher than the last, I couldn't think of anything that has changed with the exception of introducing this new item in my home.

I have a large bed room, and a 110 lb lab and 100 lb lab that spend all their time in here so my room kind of smells like dog. I turned this on as soon as I got it and within an hour my room smelled clean and fresh. When its on low you cant hear it at all, medium just barely hear it and fast is noticable but not annoying. Its also helping reduce the ammount of dust in my room(which is why I baught it). If you're going to get an air purifier get this one, it looks good too.

When I first turned the unit on, I was worried because it made the room smell bad, but this was only temporary and now my room feels very fresh. Low and Medium settings run very quietly and High is loud, but not annoying. I wish this unit could oscillate, but for the price I shouldn't complain. I haven't tried other purifiers, but this does what it's supposed to, so I'd recommend it.

I've had this filter for a few weeks and love it. I sleep great now, leave it on low in my studio apt all the time. I think the choice not to have an additional part to circulate the air (that can break down) was a good choice for me. I'm not clear why this is a HEPA-type filter and not a HEPA filter, and the difference is not explained on the box. I almost returned it for that reason. An additional challenge I had was that I ordered this from my local store but it was sent, as most all their products are, I believe, from California, so it took much longer than I had expected. They worked with me on the price, but I was disappointed that I needed it while DC was in a code orange and red (can you believe it?) air quality stretch. My only complaint, then, was the shipping time, so be sure to get that clear when you order. This air filter has made a huge difference in air quality in my apt. 5 stars In the future, I would consider a filter with additional air purifying options, too.

My daughter has horrible allergies so I got one of these for her room. She hasn't been sneezing half as much and we were able to take her off allergy medication. It is a little noisy on the high setting, but low and medium are almost silent. With the ionizer, this is the best air purifier for the price.

We bought two of the Honeywell Air Purifiers at the same time. The other is the oscillating type. Both do a great job - I have terrible allergies and they really help. The house also smells cleaner :) - which is an added bonus. I would definitely purchase this purifier again.

It is a tad big, but other than that it is great. It worked right out of the box with no problems. DON'T waste your money with a purifier with replaceable filters! Great noise level, pleasant to sleep to.Air is noticeably fresher as soon as we walk into the bedroom, exactly what we planned for!

This Air Purifier is an excellent investment, and enabled me to sleep peacefully without having to deal with allergy symptoms the entire night. The Honeywell 99% HEPA Tower Air Purifier with Ionizer and Permanent Filter has been a terrific investment since I bought it. The only thing that could be different about it is an oscillating feature. Another feature that would be quite useful is a remote control for the tower. The remote would enable a person to change the settings without having to get up. Even without those two features that would have improved it much more, the product itself is wonderful. I highly recommend this product to anyone suffering from allergies. It's not too loud to sleep with in the room either. It's simply the best investment I have ever made.

I live in Myrtle Beach, Sc, and every year around April yellow pollen blankets this area for 2 months. I suffer from allergies in my 1 bedroom apt until it passes. I do smoke mostly out side, and have a pug. This combination only makes things worse in my home. However, I purchased this unit 6 months ago, before pollen season started. This product is nothing short of amazing. My apartment is 780 sq ft, and this has improved my overall quality of life in the following ways. Pros 1. I no longer get nose bleeds from sinus infections from my allergies. 2. No more smelly dog, anyone who owns a pet knows they smell. 3. When I do smoke inside the smoke subsides in minutes. 4. I feel I do get better rest when it's on. 5. The dust has dramatically reduced. Cons 1. Electric bill increased $15 (well worth it to me, 50 cents a day for better quality air). 2. High speed is a lot louder than medium or low. 3. I should have bought something like this years ago. I hope this product helps you as much as it did me!

This unit immediately went to work. The room felt cleaner and being that I am in my home office more than in any other room due to work, I want it to be clean and have reduced dust. This unit is a definite must if you are in a room that collects dust and has frequent visits from a pet :)

I purchased two of these for our 100-year old home that always seems to be dusty. They were a little noisy, but I think any purifier you buy is going to have noise. We ran them for about a month and opened them to clean the filter. Obviously they were doing their job! They had trapped a lot of dust. We will continue to use them.
